Such a lovely place. The friendliest staff, food is delicious and fresh, and the drinks are wonderful. Ate here by myself and felt like I was eating at home because the staff was so kind. So when my family came to visit I took them back to Bar Balbi two weeks later! Thank you friends at Bar Balbi! I’ll be back one day to give you a better drawing :)

El precio no está mal, pero desafortunadamente la comida me decepcionó, la pasta de mar es lo más caro del menú y no seguía la receta, la carbonara y el ragú eran normalillos, el pesto estaba bueno. La pasta no era fresca, los profiteroles eran congelados... Si quieres algo pasable o vas apurado esta bien, pero no es un sitio para maravillarse con su cocina. Un tiempo después de haber escrito la reseña voy a aclarar algunos puntos, uno de mis hobbies es escribir reseñas de lugares que visito por lo que tomó fotos de la comida y el ambiente de los lugares, intento de forma parcial hacer reseñas de donde voy. El restaurante era en mi opinión sencillo, lo cual he intentado dejar claro en la reseña. No me quejo del lugar, tan sólo intento aclarar que no es un sitio de postín para disfrutar de platos impresionantes con ingredientes de primera, sino un bar que prepara cocina simple en el que me tope ciertas cosas que culinariamente me hizo no poder dar más al sitio donde hasta ahora me pareció tan agradable.

“Un’esperienza impeccabile tra caffè e cordialità” Siamo state a Genova per lavoro in occasione del Festival della Scienza ed ogni mattina abbiamo fatto colazione nel Bar Balbi, il posto ideale per chi cerca non solo un buon caffè, ma anche un ambiente dove sentirsi davvero accolto. I gestori sono persone straordinariamente gentili ed ospitali , sempre pronti a soddisfare ogni richiesta , a personalizzare le ordinazioni secondo i gusti e a fornire consigli ed informazioni sulla città. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca non solo un ottimo servizio, ma anche un sorriso e un’atmosfera di casa. Grazie e… a presto ! Rosa, Sandra, Chiara.

This is such a welcoming place. I've been here a couple of times and the owner and employees started to recognize me, which is nice when you've been traveling for a while.

What I love is that it is a place where locals go too. When you ask for a caffè americano they serve you an espresso with a little can of hot water, so you can make it to your own taste.

They have freshly squized orange juice and their vegan croissant with...

It was our last day of our short trip to Genau and i still had not eaten something with pesto Genovese. So we entered this small but nice location searching pasta di genovese. I ended up with Gnocchi di Genovese and i was absolutely pleased. Very friendly hostkeeper - nice service and thank you a lot for cooking for us - grazie...
