Cantine Matteotti — Restaurant in Genoa

The cantine is located in an alley close to the square, with possibilities to sit either inside, at the entrance outside or in the square. The wine was absolutely spectacular, especially given the low prices, and the food was very good as well. The service was a bit slow, we had to wait quite a bit and it gave us the impression the cantine was understaffed. The service was however very explanatory and friendly. Really excellent little wine bar. The atmosphere is relaxed but lively, the food is flawless and the wine selection is interesting, delicious and very reasonable. Just let the guy guide you through the list and be prepared to try everything.
