Very disappointing. We read the reviews and we couldn’t understand how our experience could be so bad. We had a cheese plat that was not good. As soon as we arrived we ordered everything and even doing that, our food took more than 1 hour to arrive and the taste was not good at all. It seemed that the food was prepared long ago and then someone used the microwave to reheat. I really think something went wrong in the kitchen, because it is not normal to go to a well rated restaurant and have an experience like that, but since no one of the staff gave any explanations, this is a place to never go back. Hands down best food I had in Liguria. Genoa is a foodie's paradise and this place takes the cake - super traditional and fresh fish oriented dishes which taste like the food made by the Italian nona you never had.

Octopus tentacles w/ Ligurian greens and capers, spaghetti w/ fresh clams, bread crumble and parsley or deep fried breaded anchovies and yogurt are among the dishes we tried and just adored. Even the complimentary foccacia they bring is out-of-this-world good. Oh and the staff is super helpul and nice.

Went on a Thursday on the recommendation from a local. Had green salad and warm seafood salad for appetizers (both very good and generous portions), and the braised beef with mashed potatoes and the octopus for entrees. The beef was tasty, but very greasy and there was a large piece with an inedible hard section. The octopus was tender and flavorful. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Perhaps it’s the custom in Genoa to serve a piece of meat like that, but if you can’t eat it, why serve it? Being disappointed, we did not try dessert. I would not recommend...
