Bigo — Attraction in Genoa

Food seems cheap at first sight but the portions are really small. I got a fish plate which cost 22€ and I only got 3 shrimps and 3 small fish filets. So I paid 3,6€ for each one which ist WAY to much.

The waiters also take way too long to get your food or even serve you. They aren’t very friendly and seem very uninterested.

Also the drinks are very expensive like 4€ for a 300ml Pepsi that’s way too much!!!!!!!!!

The only okay thing is the view but the restaurant it self is very dirty and unpleasant.

The toilet also had a very long queue and was dirty

Also the only reason they have such good reviews is because most of the reviews are about the viewing point( The viewing point is great but the restaurant is horrible). Most of the reviews about the actual restaurant are negative. In my opionion this is a classic...

Classic tourist trap!

You can eat much better quality, bigger portions , cheaper and faster at the nearby mcdonalds.

Bigo cafe serves frozen food, small portions , scamming their customers and mediocre view.

Staff straight up lied to me about the drinks sizes , told me “ the 4 euro medium pepsi is way more than the 3,5 euro can lattina 330ml coca cola “ . it was less… ( 300ml for 4 euros )

Got charged for the service fee 1,5euro per person , and i was charged for 1 more person than we actually were . Like what??

Worst place ive eaten in whole italy BY FAR!

Service was good BUT we were almost alone , other reviews state mediocre service or slow.

( the prices arent that crazy BUT they don’t match the portions and quality )

( they have 2 bigo restaurants in google maps shown to have...

So... The food was misunderstood. When ordering a hamburger you would expect... Well a hamburger. But the dish was just the Patty with a side of salad and fries which was of the frozen kind you just heat up. The Aperol Spritz was made with white wine instead of prosecco and therefore missing the fizzines. The dessert was ok but the after dinner cocktail "sidecar" was so bad that I couldn't drink it. I know my way around cocktails as I make them at home and have been at a lot of cocktail bars around the world. That "Sidecar" was the worst I ever had. To be fair the waiter offered a new one but as I didn't wanted to try it again they just deleted it from the bill. So 1 star for a ok dessert and one star for trying to...
