Genova Experience — Attraction in Genoa

My worst souvenir shop experience ever: since I entered, a man was permanently observing me, as if I was a thief. I thought maybe he wants to be helpful and I asked him about a product, but he didn't speak any English. Luckily his colleague / wife spoke English and explained the local products to me. I bought goods worth 47 Euros and paid at the cash register, where the lady served me. Among others I bought a bottle of Limoncino, which the guy a few seconds later accused me of stealing, coz I put it in the side pocket of my backpack. When he saw it, he thought I stole it and approached me, until she said "no, it's okay". I mean, if you are completely useless and unable to help plus you accuse a paying client of theft, then you probably wanna be looking for another job. Seriously, you shouldn't be dealing with clients. Maybe an office job is the right choice, a place where the damage you cause is rather limited. I left the shop and was completely shocked and disappointed. Cannot recommend, despite a few interesting products. I visited the store by the Palacio Ducale and was impressed by the quality of goods available and the knowledgeable staff. The store aesthetic is similar to an attractive urban bookstore and the selection of offerings included books on the City. The various wares and goods for sale were also thoughtfully curated and offered an upgrade to your standard souvenir shop experience. Il negozio, a prima vista di souvenir, è in realtà un esperimento di brandizzazione di alcune tipicità Genovesi, tra tradizione e innovazione. I colori sono interessanti e l'allestimento in generale stuzzica la curiosità. Si potrebbe aumentare un po' il numero delle referenze. Si trovano oggettini per tutte le tasche e l'esperienza di acquisto in generale è piacevole. È bello che i locali di uno storico negozio come Vitale Modellismo siano passati a qualcuno che mantiene un certo livello di tipicità. Suggerirei una migliore formazione...
