Amazing! Food was incredible, fresh, caught earlier in the day. So light and fresh but the sauce was so incredibly tasteful! What really made it stand out was the hospitality. I'm a teen solo traveller who speaks minimal italian but Kamal and Carla made me feel so welcome! They speak good english and will help with italian if you need it. Carla ushered me in and conversed with me in my hap hazard italian whilst Kamal came over and asked what I wished to drink and eat.
We spoke and Kamal was rather taken aback as to why I chose there to eat. I said it had fantastic reviews on the internet and he was in awe. We conversed as he made my meal and stumbled onto the fact he was from Egypt and I could speak Arabic! He was so giddy asking me about my family, where I was from, how many times I had been to italy before and the like.
I showed him my photographs I had taken in my few days so far here and he loved them, asking me to get them printed!
Fantastic hosts, made me feel like family. Grazie mille, ammo...
