Unless you can guarantee that you will have a room that does not face the square, avoid this stay. This hotel should not ever book the rooms facing the square. My husband and I were given a twin bed room facing the square. We thought staying in the town square would be charming, but it ended up being a horrible choice because it was noisy all day and night. There is no AC, which is fine, but that meant our windows always had to be open. Our windows overlooked restaurants that had patrons lingering (and talking loudly) well past 11pm. We got to hear all the restaurants clean up with dishes banging after that. On Friday night of our stay, there was a DJ until midnight in the town square. It was LOUD in our room. On Saturday morning starting at 5:30am, we were greeted by people starting to set up for a festival in the square. Don’t forget the bell that tolls every hour until midnight. There was no peace and quiet to be had. Sleep was terrible. I will say the staff was apologetic and kind and I wished we had been given a better room so I did not have to write this. This experience was a very low point in our honeymoon and I was sad, stressed and disappointed by it. The best part of this hotel was the relief we felt when our two...

Me and my boyfriend visited this restaurant after spending a lovely few days in Tuscany. Ordered a kilo of the Bistecca Florentina that cost €47 and it was lovely. When the bill came, however, they had charged us €57 for the steak. Told one of the waiters that there must have been a mistake with our bill and he told us to bring it up with the waitress that had originally taken our order. Got up and went to the front desk to settle the bill, but the massive (steroids?) guy at the desk was incredibly rude and basically told me that he wasn't going to listen to anything I had to say. When I told him that I wasn't willing to pay €10 extra for the steak he absolutely lost it, calling me all kind of names. When my boyfriend came after hearing the commotion he got in his face nearly punching him and things quickly got out of hand. Ended up with some guests leaving the restaurant and some siding up with us until the owner finally changed the bill. Very sad ending to a good evening and while food is alright, make sure to bring along your boxing gloves if you decide to visit...

We had an amazing lunch at the restaurant terrace! We enjoyed the beef stew in black pepper sauce with potatoes and pappardelle with black truffles (Flavia was very kind to change the type of pasta that was in the menu with the ones we liked more😍) The beef was absolutely delicious, the olive oil that accompanied the dish was so good that we “cleaned” everything with some pieces of bread - also very tasty! Pasta was incredible good - definitely worth trying! Tiramisu was good also, in a very nice presentation - the only downside was that the portion was smaller than expected - maybe one of the smallest ever eaten … but we enjoyed anyway 😃 The rose wine was excellent! The food came fast, and all the people working there were very nice, kind an willing to help! Thank you guys for this experience, keep up the amazing work you do!

Food was fine. I ordered Rabbit, Pork, Chicken, Duck. The Rabbit was actually Chicken! I have eaten 7 different types of Rabbit and this was a horrible attempt to pass off Chicken as Rabbit. Just be truthful in the future. Pork was dry. Pastas were very nice. Cafe was nice. Burrata and truffle was freshly cut. Service was great. Wine was nice. Washrooms very clean. Nice view of the square.
