Osteria Mangiando Mangiando — Restaurant in Greve in Chianti

Unfortunately this restaurant was heavily understaffed and struggled with a full house. As a result waiting times were ridiculously long. We spent over 2 hours at the restaurant.

The food, when it did finally arrive, was also unsatisfactory. Most dishes were far too salty and some very dry. Quality wise, easily comparable with canteen food. I also found hair in may food but that's not a big deal.

Final reason for a one star rating is that the price is far too high for what you get. If you planing on getting a proper meal with appetiser, first dish, second dish and desert it will probably cost you a minimum of 50...

We found this place through the Slow Food guide and were surprised to find it was only 4.0 stars on Google. We risked it anyway, as Slow Food have never disappointed, and it was a lovely meal. This restaurant is amazing!!! My wife and I have been in Florence for quit sometime. This restaurant was recommended to us by a local Italian family. This restaurant has amazing food, service and ambiance. Perfect homemade food with knowledgeable information on the region.
