Gastronomia GiaBar was a great find in Greve in Chianti. They offer a very convenient (and free) pick-up service, which was perfect since we were staying about 20 minutes away in a villa and it allowed everyone to enjoy the delicious wines without worrying about driving.

The team has a wealth of experience in the wine industry, and their recommendations were spot on. We not only tasted some excellent wines but also learned a lot about their background. The cheese platter was fantastic, and the Pinsas were absolutely delicious.

Discovered a gem. Our family of 3 decided on a cooking class today and we’re lucky to find the perfect class, cheese, salumi and time spent, at Gastronomia GiaBar. Not only were we taught the secrets to handmade focaccia, pasta, salad, secondo and dolce. Our day ended with sated appetites and sore cheeks from all the smiles and laughter that accompanied our day. Barbara and Giacomo + sons are very friendly and do know their jobs! There is a great selection of Italian wines (and not only) to drink and buy. One of the reasons I go often there is the wide variety of Italian and French cheeses and obviously their quality - superb!
