Bar Crastan — Restaurant in La Spezia

Although our first visit here was okay, on the second occasion the croissant was a little soft/soggy, probably due to not being very fresh. Popped in to have something to eat and a coffee after a long train trip. Asked the female waitress a question about ordering as i did not know if i should order at the counter or be served at the table. First time in La Spezia and my Italian is very rusty. The waitress simply stared at me without saying a word and then proceeded to serve someone else. Terrible service, the worst i have experienced since coming to Italy. Will never return to that...

Recensione onesta: ho chiesto un deca macchiato e il barista mi chiede se lo voglio al banco, gli rispondo di si e pago €1,30. A caffè appena servito faccio per prenderlo e sedermi fuori come avevo fatto già una volta settimane prima e mi sento richiamare da lui che mi dice che fuori non mi posso sedere, che se volevo il servizio al tavolo erano €1,50 e che il caffè dovevo prendermelo al banco ecc e già stava arrivando la polemica saccente. Ok, va benissimo, mea culpa che non lo sapevo (non c’è un cartello ben evidente che espliciti la cosa, o se c’è è molto piccolo e ritirato e non visibile),… però la volta prima che avevo chiesto un caffè seduta ai tavolini fuori ho aspettato 30 minuti abbondanti senza che si facesse vivo qualcuno. Sono dovuta entrare io a chiedere che fine avesse fatto il mio caffè (e ci sta esserselo dimenticato, con tutto che il bar era vuoto), però quel caffè io comunque l’ho preso al banco e non più seduta, pagando €0,20 centesimi in più che simbolicamente dovevano tornarmi indietro e che io per educazione avrei detto di tenere, di certo non si va in bancarotta.
