We went there yesterday but got food poisoning, probably from the food because we have not eaten anything else that day. The food seemed nice at first but a few hours later we had to throw up, got diarrhea and felt sick.
Edit: Why would I need to delete the review? We were the ones who got the table that was reserved from half 9 so it's not a fake. I uploaded a photo of the receipt to prove that we were there. Two of my friends could not sleep throughout the night because they were throwing up and were spending the night on the toilet, and we also needed to end our trip because of it (that should have lasted 7 more days). As we did not eat at any other restaurant yesterday, our suspicion is that something wasn't right with the food we received, therefore we wrote the review (as this is what reviews are for). I think it might be fair to suspect a false review, but to threaten us with the police to delete one negative review you suspect to be false seems quite...

Excellent draught beer.
My testaroli with ragu sauce sounded like something unknown combined with something familiar. Comfortable. One bite and it tasted good but even more familiar than the ragu brand back home in Canada. I didn't say a word and let lyse have a taste. She broke out laughing.
Yes chef boyardee.
She had testaroli in olive oil and parmesan. And she loved it.
We split a whole potato side dish - kind of a baked potato with the skin super crispy. Sliced in half and each half covered with sausage patties and the works covered in a sauce with red kidney beans. Fantastic!
It added up to 4 stars for us. Top notch comfort food with good beer. But no evidence that the cook is a chef.
Likely a lot of five stars from the fully packed crowd when we left past ten pm. Metal fans...
Read moreNumber one for a reason. You need to get here as close to eight as possible; otherwise, you might not get a table. The restaurant has a charming medieval feel and is small enough to feel intimate. The menu isn't too big, which makes choosing easier: we think when there are fewer options, they are more likely to be cooked well and we weren't disappointed. We had the wild boar (incredible) and ravioli with pesto (also amazing). For dessert, we had panacotta with caramel, and a rum/chocolate something (don't remember what it was called) - both were delicious. The beer was great too! In fact, the food, beer and service were so good, we left liking heavy metal music! To be fair, it's more like background music, so it's not intrusive and allows for easy conversation. We went back the following night...and we rarely visit the same...
