This is a culinary treasure for seafood enthusiasts like me. Very inexpensive and great quality! The Muscoli Ripieni, stuffed mussels, are an absolute must! The blend of herbs and seasonings in the stuffing was a true revelation. Moving on to the Spaghetti ai Frutti di Mare, it was a symphony of fresh seafood, perfectly cooked pasta, and a delectable sauce that left me craving more. The ambiance is casual, making it an non ideal spot for a celebration but if you're in La Spezia, Ai Pescatori is a must-visit for a seafood feast that will tantalize your taste buds and leave you longing for another visit.

Don‘t go here if you expect any sort of fresh food or healthy experience. Everything is either fried or completely drowned in oil and the octopus salad looks like it comes out of a freezer bag. the pasta dishes were also completely bland ans nothing like the portions they advertise outside. Also they don‘t show their prices outside, you can guess why - we paid 32€ for two small pasta dishes, 6 anchovies and a small portion of fish stew. Not completely horrible, but compared to what you get at other trattorias or actual fish restaurants just no fair. Would not do it again

Good value seafood dinner! This is a great option for a cheap and cheerful seafood dinner near the harbour in La Spezia. It's not a fine dining thing - it's self service, disposable crockery and cutlery. You choose your food from the blackboard at the front of the entrance (and you can see what you'll get in the bain marie inside). We loved our salmone al forno and lasagne al salmone with peperoni and cavolo. We were there in early February so there was no queue - the service was fast and friendly!

The place to go in town to get fish straight out of the sea. Daily run as fisherman shop, it turns into a self-service restaurant from 7 to 10 pm. Dishes range from 5€ to 15€ and include everything you can wish to get from the waterfront. Linguine with fresh fish of the day, sea-food rice, mussels, fried calamari, local Vermentino wine... It is not a fancy spot, not even cool design, it is all about essential frills like garden tables and plastic cutleries. Just mind the timing, if you get there around 8pm you may queue 30 mins or so to get served...But wasn't fish supposed to be about slow-moments, salt, air and water? Give it a try for one quick stop tomorrow night and...
