As I walked into this café, I felt my literary passion overwhelm me as I saw the books and author pictures on the shelves. There are these moments in life where I wish I could shut the world away and dive into the warmth of a coffee shop as good as this one to calmly read my book. The atmosphere is just so cozily vintage, very classical. The hot chocolate serving style immediately reminded me of Paris cafés with its marshmallows and cream on the side. But I went in last night and observed the bartender while I was there. super unsanitary bartender. do not get any drink he touches. I was there for a couple hours and he didn't wash his hands once, handling ice with his bare hands then putting it back into a bucket to continually reuse dirty ice in drinks. grabbing multiple glasses by the rims, grabbing straws from the customers end, amongst loads of other unhygienic practices.
