Il gelato di Angelina — Restaurant in Lazise

We stopped at Il Gelato di Angelina and each ordered a one‑scoop cone: watermelon, melon, yogurt with passion fruit, and cherry. Every flavor tasted clean and true, like biting into perfectly ripe fruit. The yogurt–passion fruit was a standout: silky, a little tangy, with a bright tropical finish. Cones were crisp, portions fair, and the team was friendly even with a summer crowd. A lovely spot to sit at the little outdoor tables and watch the evening stroll in Lazise. 

Why it’s worth a detour: this is an artigianale gelateria that produces its gelato in‑house and has been delighting visitors since 1981, you can taste that craft in the freshness of the sorbetti we tried. Fruit sorbets here are naturally vegan, and there’s outdoor seating with card payments accepted, handy when you’re exploring the old town. Highly recommended for anyone looking for bright, refreshing flavors by Lake Garda.

Di anno in anno, il costo del cono gelato aumenta inesorabilmente. Nonostante il prezzo dell'energia sia ai minimi dal 2022, questo non ha impedito l'ennesimo rincaro: anche quest'anno, un euro in più per il cono da tre gusti, che arriva così a costare 6,50 euro. Un vero insulto per tutti i lavoratori italiani.

Curiosamente, questo aumento riguarda solo i coni gelato, mentre il prezzo della vaschetta al chilo è rimasto invariato. Mi chiedo: forse i produttori hanno già capito da tempo che il vero guadagno sta nel cono da asporto?

Prezzi simili possono forse essere giustificati in Germania o nei Paesi Bassi, ma non sono affatto sostenibili per chi, come me, vive con uno stipendio italiano. Il risultato? Mi rifiuto di acquistare a queste cifre e invito i lettori a riflettere su questo aspetto.

A Lazise, tra l’altro, il prezzo è praticamente identico in tutte le gelaterie, un chiaro segnale di un accordo tra esercenti, a danno dei consumatori. Il nostro unico potere è quello di non acquistare e segnalare apertamente questo esborso eccessivo.

Quest'anno però ho avuto una brutta sorpresa: i prezzi sono saliti alle stelle!

Ma tutti i gelatai del centro storico di Lazise hanno aumentato il prezzo a tavolino evidentemente:

2€ una pallina 3,7€ due palline 5,4€ tre palline...

Ok che le materie prime sono aumentate, ma rispetto lo scorso anno un 40% di aumento mi pare esagerato (magari il mio datore di lavoro mi aumentasse la paga così tanto, e no! è sempre quella!).

È strano che il prezzo al kg o le coppe al tavolo non hanno subito aumenti... c'è qualcosa che non va.

Per questa vacanza un gelato e basta: mi aumenti il prezzo e io non lo compro!

4 stelle per la bontà del gelato, fosse per il prezzo lo abbasserei...

Diese Gelaterie hat uns heute leider etwas enttäuscht. Wir sind durch Zufall darauf aufmerksam geworden und haben uns ohne lange zu überlegen an einen Tisch draußen gesetzt. Die Bedienung kam schnell und war freundlich, sie konnte zwar nur auf italienisch sprechen aber die Kommunikation hat trotzdem gut funktioniert! Ebenso gut war die Lage, wirklich eine süße Gegend. Es sah auch ordentlich dort aus.

Nur das wichtigste bei Gelaterie Besuchen ist das Eis. Wir haben uns für einen Eiskaffee und einen AfterEight Becher entschieden, jeweils 9 Euro teuer. Sie kamen zügig an und waren optisch vielversprechend. Leider war es aber viel zu viel Sahne, eine kleine Kugel je Bestellung und sehr viel Sirup in den jeweiligen Bechern. Das war anfangs vielleicht noch zu ertragen aber innerhalb 2min ist das Eis geschmolzen gewesen und es war eine reine Zuckerblörre. Sehr sehr schade, geschmacklich war es wirklich nur eine 3/10 Sternen, jedoch von der Location eine 7/10. Vielleicht, wenn wir in der Nähe wären, würden wir dem ganzen nochmal eine Chance geben und etwas fruchtiges probieren. So war es aber viel zu zuckrig und süß. (obwohl wir gerne etwas Süßes essen, sonst wären wir ja nicht Eis essen gegangen)

Gebt diesem Geschäft aber trotzdem gerne selbst eine Chance, die Mitarbeitenden waren alle...
