Cucina Riviera Gelateria — Restaurant in Lazise

I've downgraded my review from 2017 after visiting again in 2018. The staff were in a rush and not very friendly. The food was ok but not as good as last year. The lasagne was quite dry and served very (too) quickly. The pasta with salmon had very little salmon in it. The bread provided was dry. They also allow a rose seller to go about his business. The ice creams looked nice (they were good last year) but we decided to go elsewhere for dessert this year.

Update 2023... Rather than risk a meal, this year we just visited the ice cream kiosk. The ice cream was very tasty but the lady serving us was obviously having a bad day and was the grumpiest person I have seen in Lazise. We'll stick to our own advice next time and avoid this...

Food was okay. Had better tegiagelli. Ordered a side saladt, waiter repeated it. We had to ask twice until he told us that we didn’t order it and by that time we were nearly done with our main dish and didn’t want our side saladt again. By the end of it we ask ask to speak to the manager and they acted like they didn’t understand us until we said we were not going to pay before they let us speak to the manager. Then the manager came and acted like he didn’t understand us either until we threaten to not pay and he actually told us he was not the a manger. Then who the hell was he ? ??? Horrible...

I usually try to find reasons to leave positive feedback on restaurants, but this place was a disappointment. Food was ok, although one meal came out after everyone else had eaten. However, the service was shocking. One of the servers actually squared up to us when we were waiting to be seated “you got a problem, no service”. After waiting so long in the first place, we weren’t about to answer back. Seriously bad attitude and clearly in the wrong job. Lazise is beautiful and this place is right on the front, overlooking the lake. If only the staff were as impressive as...
