Food: Had high hopes for this place unfortunately there’s a lack of prep or maybe it was just a bad day in the kitchen. You will notice that the owner must have been in the U.S for some time (I been myself there too) so I recognized the style and food that was offered.  Overall it was not bad but the whole burger was overkilled by the sauce. Typically it is served with ketchup/mayo maybe in some special occasions with Beurre blanc,Hollandaise Sauce(etc etc I could go on with the endless list) but here it was exaggerated with the sugar in the sauce, I feel bad to say it but it tasted like meat with sugar sprinkled on top of it. Since I am into the culinary world myself the usage of sugar is to balance out the dish form the salt or acidity but in this case it went way beyond the border. The guacamole was done in its own way (outside US apparently everyone does it his/her own way) which in this case was Avocado,Green pepper (the pepper is used to save on resources),crushed tomatoes,jalapeno Pepper (no go) and olive oil as to the original (Avocado,tomatoes crushed,red onion preferred,cilantro (flat leaf or Italian parlsey for the EU,Olive oil,Lime (not lemon),salt and fresh grinded pepper.

Not to go any further with a little tweaks here and there the food experience would be pretty good.

Price: For the price it was pretty fine, a weekend experience with kids or loved ones is top notch and a different kind of food for South Italy for whoever wants to try it.

Service: Is pretty good, a lot of young people working here which do their best to make you feel welcome.

(sometimes there is live music played there if you are not up to it don’t complain and if some food takes some time take in consideration it is  a 2 level floor restaurant with over 10 waiters so it is always rush hour. Waites will fly by and wont react to hand waving  (you cant call them with the loud music).

Non è la prima volta che mangio al cantiere ma quello che è successo la scorsa sera è sicuramente da sottolineare.

Premetto che se volete un ottimo panino allora il cantiere fa assolutamente per voi, ma...

Arriviamo al cantiere in tarda serata, locale pieno a metà e quindi una situazione abbastanza tranquilla. Ordiniamo quasi a mezzanotte e dopo pochi minuti arrivano le bibite e dopo poco anche un piccolo antipasto.

Premetto che durante l'ordine ho chiesto di SOSTITUIRE la scamorza con un prodotto senza lattosio (mi propongono burrata o stracciatella).

Tutto molto bene e divertente tranne per il fatto che alle ore 01:20 ci chiediamo dove fossero finiti i nostri panini. Nel frattempo, ovviamente, le birre erano finite e le coca cola erano calde e sgasate. Chiamiamo quindi i camerieri per ricevere qualche informazione e, ovviamente, scopriamo di un problema al wifi che aveva fatto arrivare l'ordine di bibite e antipasti ma non dei panini....ok. Colgo l'occasione per chiedere qualche bevanda di supporto per l'attesa e ci vengono offerte due bottiglie d'acqua piccole per 6 persone (meglio di niente).

Arrivano i panini (ore 01:30) ma, anche qui, altri disservizi per ciò che poteva essere e non è stato: due panini arrivano in versione completamente basic (solo pane e cotoletta) quando sarebbero dovuti arrivare due panini completi, a me arriva un panino strabordante di stracciatella (era palese non fosse la scelta giusta in quel caso e quindi, magari, andavo guidato nella scelta ottimale) e un numero misero di patatine (si possono contare 10 patatine nella foto).

In tutto ciò, per scusarci, ci viene offerto un set di dolci a centro tavola: una torta di crepes con panna e una cheesecake con panna e caramello. Seriamente mi offrite i dolci con la panna dopo aver chiesto di sostituire la scamorza con un prodotto senza lattosio??? Da ciò deduco una scarsa preparazione/attenzione alle intolleranze alimentari (fondamentali al giorno d'oggi).

Momento conto: arriva il conto e mi ritrovo un supplemento di 2€ per la stracciatella senza lattosio. "L'aggiunta non è pagare di più ma aggiungere più gusto" recita il loro menù, ok, va bene, ma io non ho aggiunto e, anzi, ho sostituito per una mancanza del locale che non presenta il prodotto "ufficiale" del panino anche in versione senza lattosio.

Nonostante ciò, però, bisogna sottolineare la disponibilità del personale (in alcuni suoi elementi, non tutti) nel trovare sempre la soluzione migliore con pazienza e gentilezza.

Riassumendo: i panini sono e rimarranno ottimi soprattutto nella carne utilizzata, alcune cose nel servizio sono da migliorare (attenzione ad un tavolo fermo da un'ora, consigliare al meglio durante la scelta di un panino altrimenti potrei ordinare tranquillamente da solo attraverso un tablet, il risultato sarebbe uguale), attenzione alle intolleranze perché sono fondamentali.

I prezzi non sono sicuramente bassi ma penso siano in linea con qualità e prodotti. Le bevande, invece, sicuramente sono troppo costose.

Piccolo edit post risposta del proprietario: grazie per la risposta e, da clienti affezionati, credo che torneremo sicuramente e infatti credo di aver consigliato comunque il vostro locale raccontando, però, anche ciò che non va.

Posso assicurare che le problematiche ai panini erano reali (poche patatine come da foto e panini incompleti), non avrebbe senso consigliare il vostro locale raccontando bugie.

Sinceramente non trovo il nesso del panino veg con il lactose free, è come prendere due piccioni con una fava. Va benissimo, invece, consigliare una sostituzione di ingredienti spiegando bene al cliente, però, cosa succede in quel caso (ovvero un costo maggiore ad esempio).

Credo comunque siano problematiche di una serata storta e sono sicuro che potrò smentire la recensione quanto prima. A...

As an art installation or theme park, this place gets 4 stars

As a restaurant, it was a 1 or 2-star experience: the food was overpriced, confused interpretations of pretty simple dishes. I strongly suspect their chef never ate American food or even consulted recipes. Wings, poke bowl, burgers, onion rings…all flavorless the waitress was great, but seating was chaotic and it took 10+ minutes and a trip to the bar to eventually meet our server the “American music” playlist was 50% gangster rap (Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Snoop, etc) with sexually explicit, misogynistic, & violent lyrics…my preadolescent kids were shocked 😳. The manager didn’t care…he told me, ”rap is American”. Ok buddy.

I guess I’d see a concert here, or have a drink, but won’t eat this “food” again or...
