Mezzo Quinto Osteria — Restaurant in Lecce

My husband and i stopped by Mezzo Quinto Osteria for lunch on our day trip to Lecce. We were immediately met by a friendly gentleman as soon as we entered the restaurant, and we felt very welcome. Giorgio (the waiter) took his sweet time (in a good way) and explained everything we were curious about on the menu, and gave us good recommendations on which wine to choose. The restaurant was not full that day, but it was more than enough guests to keep the one working waiter busy. Giorgio still took his time to chit-chat with all of the guests, and by the looks of it, they all appreciated it as much as we did. I am a bit worried that my husband might be hesitant about his sexual orientation after this visit. Yikes. And over to the most important part of our visit; the food. It was simply amazing, with clean and addicting flavors that became more and more tasty after each bite....

Partirei dal servizio e darei 6 stelle. Spiego : (ho abitudine a fare recensioni fatte per bene..) Per un frainteso tra camerieri abbiamo atteso circa mezz'ora prima di ordinare, facendo chiaramente presente il disagio. Il proprietario, Massimiliano, si presenta e 'ci mette la faccia' (così si fa!). Si scusa, più volte (non sarebbe stato necessario) e prende la comanda 'viziandoci' con qualche attenzione particolare. Questo è il modo per cui torno in un locale, infatti due giorni dopo son tornato, prima di ripartire. Ma non solo per il servizio perfettamente riparato, ma per la qualità dei cibi assaggiati. Siamo stati bene, mangiando 7 (sette si!.. Ecco Le attenzioni...) cose differenti ognuna delle quali sarebbe stata da doppiare. Musica gradevole, ambiente interno ed esterno piacevole e moderno. Vini di ottima qualità e molto ben presentati e serviti da Alex, bravo. Questi sono i locali che meritano presenza. Grazie, siam tornati, subito, e...

Mi sento di smentire le ottime recensioni su questo locale. Premessa: ci sono venuta sotto consiglio di amici, ma la mia esperienza è stata troppo negativa. Abbiamo cenato con amici e i piatti per antipasto ci sono stati serviti a spezzoni, con le dovute sollecitazioni del caso. Per non parlare delle bibite le abbiamo dovute chiedere più e più volte. Ora, il problema serio era il piatto, abbiamo mangiato le fave e cicorie. Le fave erano acide! Andate a male o non correttamente conservate. Turcinieddhri crudi internamente. Il problema è che al momento del conto,quando è stato fatto presente ci siamo sentiti dire "riferirò allo chef". Al momento di pagare non sono stati tolti nemmeno 25 centesimi, per arrotondare la cifra. Il che poteva essere il minimo, considerando...
