Simply overrated. The design of the place is wonderful and the dishes look beautiful, but once you take a bite of the food, you quickly realize there is a general lack of flavor and passion in the food. My starter was poorly balanced as the delicate flavor of amberjack was heavily overpowered by the sweet tropical fruit toppings. I ordered pork as my main. I have never really had to send back food at a restaurant but this place was one of the very rare occasions I had to do so. The menu said it was slowcooked so I was hoping for some beautiful pull apart meat. To my utter disappointment the piece of pork was so incredibly dry I refused to eat it. The side of potatoes lacked flavor and there was no sauce on the plate to save the dish. I had the dish replaced with pasta, which was ok, but again seriously lacked flavor. For dessert we ordered a pistachio semifreddo. Whomever put together this dish probably has very little experience in desserts. They had paired the semifreddo with an overly sweet berry compote which did not match the rest of the dish whatsoever. The semifreddo itself was a brick of ice. Even after waiting 5-10 minutes it was impossible to get a spoonful. We were basically smashing the plate to break off a piece. Our efforts were pointless however, since the semifreddo was just icy and flavorless. The special bread looked cool but was overprowered by the smoky bitter flavor which quickly made it rather unpleasant. I could not finish a piece. In the end I saw someone else being served the pork dish I had ordered earlier. To my surprise the dish looked entirely different, even the potatoes had been prepared a different way, so I am quite curious to know what had happened to my plate earlier :)

Read moreModern restaurant were we found the service to be lacking( we were the only table not told about the daily specials available, maybe because we were tourists. This was pointed out to the waiter which apologized and offered 2 glasses of amari on the house). Service was rushed. With regards to the food served, Starer was good, however the main course ( maiale nazzionale) was v poorly executed. The meat was v tough and, did not find the combination of pork belly, burrata, prawns and raw cold tomatoes to...
