Ok, this is a tricky one. I just love a lot about this place. It's located in a super cute alley, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and you are served your food before you know it. Thing is, I was not super excited about their pizzas. The base is interesting. A bit of a darker taste than usual, probably due to their more spelt based dough. A lot of flavor. However, I was hoping for a nice thick fluffy crust like the Neapolitan pizzas that I always get carried away with. Unfortunately, these pizza crusts were thick but quite dense. A bit too dense for my liking. The pizza toppings did not make up for it. It wasn't bad but tasted a bit boring. So in the end, both the red and bianchi pizza were just not that great. Your miles may vary with other flavors. The tiramisu cake was a bit dry, with the mascarpone tasting just like mascarpone, so the end wasn't the very sweetest. And I really wanted it to be. The antipasti was very nice. And eating in that little street is very romantic, with their upper floor tables looking very cosy as well. So go there for the experience. You might be lucky and feel their pizzas are more your thing.

Absolutely loved this place! The downstairs was packed so we were taking around the building to some stairs and sat upstairs in the terrace, just magic with the hum of the street downstairs. The pizzas were amazing, the selection would cover most people preferences the finished product was delicious. The dough just perfect and the toppings fresh and tasty. Went for the house red wine and it’s flavor was beautiful and went well with the tomato based pizzas we chose. Finishing off with limoncello is always a great full stop to a meal. The waiters we had were super friendly, with great English and were super kind with our attempted Italian. Would definitely recommend this place for a delicious meal, great atmosphere and staff!

I was very much looking forward to try this pizza place after getting a recommendation and also reading so many good reviews. But it was quite a disappointment. I loved the location of the restaurant in the city center, with tables in a tiny street carefully decorated with hanging plants and lights giving it a very warm and romantic feeling. The service - unlike some reviews I’ve seen- was also pretty good that night. What disappointed me was the food. I did not like the pizza dough nor the toppings that much, it was alright but certainly not up to the expectations that the many good reviews set up. The tiramisu was a bit heavy and missing a bit of flavor. Too bad.

Voto finale : 4.5

Excellent pizza and THE BEST CREME BRÛLÉE I’VE HAD IN MY LIFE! The crème brûlée has a light texture, not too sweet and it’s perfectly balanced with brûlée! There are many creative and delicious pizzas on the menu! My favourite pizza is with bacon, buffalo mozzarella, and rosemary! They have excellent customer service and the restaurant is gorgeous with the limestone and beautifully decorated! The chef’s wife has the best taste in decorations- she’s the one who decorates the street during Christmas too! This place is clean and extremely affordable and one of my favourite places to eat! Best part of Locorotondo!

We did not regret to try the local pizzeria. The restaurant is located in the historic centre of Locorotondo. The menu is big and the house offers many different dough types and fresh ingredients. Since the restaurant has a wood-fired oven the pizza does not taste only great but is served very quickly. Service is good, waiters are friendly and efficient. The place is popular and people stand in line to get a seat, but it’s worth it. The tables outside are in a cozy street with a beautiful atmosphere.
