Maybe we visited QuantoBasta on the wrong night.. As this place is highly recommended, our expectations were also high, but unfortunately not met. It was one of those nights where everything went wrong. We came in early to ask for a table inside. It wasn’t available, but we could make a reservation for later that night. When we came back, we were still told that there was only space outside. We accepted. It took about 20 minutes before we could place our order. As it was very busy, and the staff were only in two and were working really hard, we were patient. Then the waiting started. Our pizza arrived an hour later. In between, two tables left without having food. I would still have accepted the wait if the pizza was worth it. Unfortunately it wasn’t. It was a bit burned (both the crust and bottom) and a bit bland in taste. We left disappointed. Two stars for the location and the effort of the staff, which were...

That evening we wanted eat , what my friend of mine offered to me, we should try in Puglia meatballs with tomato sauce + toasted bread , so I asked 3 restaurants (all, what was opened and tourist book offered) , but on their menu wasn't . Finally I noticed this little lovely pizzeria and I asked the cook , have you got "this food", what I am looking for? He & the owner answered : " We haven't got, but if you can wait half an hour, we can cook for you ! " We were soooooooo happy , and it was worth the wait with a nice local wine, the meatballs with tomato sauce ,toasted bread was delicious !!! Thank you so much, we are grateful for this unforgettable memory , what both of your kind, friendly, helpful personality gave us! We warmly recommend to everyone! Read moreI give it 3 stars as I liked the typical location amid narrow town center streets with tables out of the restaurant in the pedestrian area. Pizzas choice is on average even if there some classical Italian pizzas such as Marinara out of the menu but can be asked to the waiter. Staff is very kind and friendly and they ask several times if everything is OK with the dinner.
We ordered 4 pizzas and 1 salad. Salad was very good. Pizzas are apparently small but they are enough for a dinner and they leave some space for a dessert. Pizza is cooked in a wood oven. Unfortunately 2 pizzas out of 4 were a bit burned at the bottom that left some slight bitter taste when eaten. In general I find the condiment was not up to the level I expect for a southern restaurant in downtown. Price for a pizza starts from 5 euro for a Margherita to 8-9 euros for...
