Cibus & Pizza — Restaurant in Lucca

Lovely restaurant, if my memory is serving me correctly, run by a family. The pizza is sooooo delicious. My parents enjoyed the meal so much, they returned for multiple dinners at Cibus’ after my sister & I returned home — they figured if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it - they knew the quality of food was top notch, and after a few disappointing meals, they knew where to go for happy bellies.

In our many visits in Italy this was the place with the worst service and food.Do not make the mistake to visit you will be very disappointed. Old lady serving was throwing plates all over the table, old guy from the kitchen came out and started arguing when we said the food was not good On top of that they throw out family with small kids not letting them use restroom and pushed the children. What a lovely little place, we found this on our way back to our hotel last night, just had a few Lemonchello spritz, they were delicious and so we went back for lunch before we left Lucca, wonderful friendly staff, I had the freshest ravioli stuffed with creme and doused in olive oil, fresh herbs, prawns and scampi.
