Il sapore del cibo è impressionante! Si vede l'amore dietro ogni piatto! Non aspettavamo con mia moglie questo piccolo posto in Lucca. In nostro viaggio in Italia questi è uno dei migliori posti che abbiamo trovato! Grazie al grande chef! Come ho detto a lui, il suo cibo fa a la gente felice!

My wife found this place through Google reviews. We were impressed with how good the food was in this small place in Lucca. One of the best experiences we had on our trip. Our great chef was so nice that he let us come in even after the typical hours of work and he prepared, served everything and even took some time to speak with us. If you go to Lucca this is a place you need to go to! The food was an explosion of flavour, if there were words to explain Inwoukd do it. Outstanding food, wine and service. We arrived late in Lucca with two hungry grouchy kids (3 and 4 years old) and most places were full. This place didn't look like the most child-friendly restaurant but we were desperate. The guys were so welcoming, served up plates of crisps and watermelon almost instantly to calm the kids. Then the main event... The food!!!! I had a salmon and fennel salad, my husband shared a plate of antipasti with his brother, the kids had pear and pecorino ravioli. And my sister in law had the same but with the gorgonzola sauce. We couldn't believe our luck. Food was outstanding. Wine was fabulous. This cozy, warm and welcoming restaurant is worth the wait. The staff were super nice, attentive, and know how to prepare food. I wanted some comfort food, and that's exactly what I received. The burger was seasoned and cooked perfectly, served with a small side salad, and potatoes. The burger bun was soft and light and had cheese, onions, and tomato. The salad was dressed with a light oil and came with tomatoes and carrot shavings. The fries were delicious and not oily or heavy. All the menu items were reasonably priced.
