Cico's Cucina&Burger — Restaurant in Maiori

When we travel we like to find places where the locals go as we believe that is where you experience the real people and culture of a country. We discovered Cico's on our second day in Maiori. We went for something light for lunch to check it out. What struck us immediately was how welcome Antonio made us feel. You could see that he is passionate about his restaurant and food. The Buffelo Salad we had was amazing. That evening we were back. Our plan was to just have a meal and then go of to Minori. Well, Antonio was such a great host he served us with delicious food and his recommendations were excellent. We love how passionate he was about serving us some of his mums special dishes. Yes at Cico's it' Antonio, his mother and sister making all the delicious meals. We would normally not go back to a restaurant twice in a short space as we like to explore but we could not resist going back the next night again. Again we were almost treated like royalty and I had the best Carbonara pasta of my life. Don't be put off because it's back in the neighborhood or because when you enter you don't see the finest decor etc. Just sit down and try the food you will love it. This restaurant is an absolute must in Maiori! We stumbled upon it one night on our trip last week, and we had such an amazing experience that we went back again the next night. The owner and his son are so kind, and the food was divine. The first night we had the Gnocchi and the lemon pasta. For dessert we had one classic and one pistachio tiramisu. I cannot even begin to tell you how absolutely delicious every single bite was. I will be dreaming about this food for a long time! The second night we had spaghetti, and we ordered the meatball appetizer to go with it. These meatballs were the best I had ever eaten! Then the dessert was so good the first night that we had it all over again the second time. They also have options for picky eaters, or people who don’t eat traditional Italian options. My sister is very picky and she got a burger! It was a great way for us to enjoy the Italian food, and her to have options as well! This would be great for people travelling with picky eaters or kids. The pictures will never be able to show just how delicious these meals were. Amazing food, amazing people. My wife and I dined here this evening, we spent a lot of time searching for the right place for the first meal of our honeymoon and we certainly chose the right place. The food was amazing!! I had the Pasta alla Norma which was easily the best pasta dish I have ever tasted, my wife chose the Lingotti Ripieni and said it was divine. We finished our meals with the classic tiramisu and the pistachio cream tiramisu, both were outstanding. To top it all off the service was perfect (gentleman in the green jumper). He made the experience that much better with his happy, kind manner. We will definitely return before we leave Maiori.

Edit - We returned for another amazing evening at Cico’s. Again, the food was amazing. What makes Cico’s the best place we have visited is the amazing service. Not only were we made to feel welcome as if we were the most important people in the world, we were wished a happy honeymoon by Antonio’s father via translate due to his limited English, this little extra effort left us both smiling from ear to ear and left Cico’s holding a special place in our hearts ♥️...
