Angelo's Snack and Drink di Emiro Giuseppina — Restaurant in Massa Lubrense

We visited this quiet little restaurant with another two couples from Perth, Western Australia in 2016. What an amazing life experience visiting this most beautiful little piece of Italy. Angelo, his daughters and a son in law boat builder/shipwright and his wife who I can not recall her name but she was a beautiful lady. Angelo's wife was a beautiful, warm, welcoming women who along with her daughters fed us and fuled us until we sadly had to depart. What an amazing place to spend some time in this most beautiful part of the world. The trip to Capri is well worth the trip from this beautiful little harbour. Angelo has a special place in all of our hearts. One because we were lucky in this life to have met him and his family and restuarant and two because he gave our girls the trip of a lifetime to our accommodation in his little italian car. Us blokes sadly had to walk home to our villa, but I must say the walk home along the coastal path was a life bonding experience amongst a group of husbands who's wives were life long friends. Angelo’s… Angelo’s… Angelo’s. When I tell you this bar/restaurant is the best we had our time in Italy, I’m not kidding you in the slightest.

Hands down the BEST, most wholesome food and people we had/met this whole trip. You will be immediately greeted with a warm smile and energy by any number of the staff who all speak fluent English.

While you wait, you can look out over Marina Lobra, where there is a peace and quiet, watch as boars slowly come in and out of the port.

Pizza, pasta, desert, morning coffee, it’s all 6/5 stars. This place is truly special. There are some places and people that will just stick with you for how amazing the atmosphere (and food of course) is, and Angelo’s is one of those places.

I asked the waiter if we could ship frozen pizzas back home, she laughed, and quickly told us it’s the quality of their ingredients that makes it so good. I do not doubt it at all. You can taste the difference.

Highly recommend a sunset dinner if possible.

We stayed in the Airbnb above this family-owned restaurant and I can’t recommend this place enough! Dad angelo sits and watches over everyone as his super friendly, funny, and kind daughters served every night! We would come down in the evening and play cards till late! We were never pestered to leave or feel rushed, we would sit here for hours just enjoying each others company whilst listening to the family singing and laughing! It was such a lovely spot, the family always helped us get places, where to get the bus&boats and what time we needed to come down! If we had any questions, this family always helped!
