Went there on a stormy night and just got in before the heavens opened. The restaurant was very warm inside which was made worse by the door being closed. There was a roof fan which the staff wouldn't turn on even when asked so it was uncomfortable until the rain stopped and the doors were opened again. But the food was very good. Started with the mixed Crostini followed by pizza and pasta (with wild boar Ragu). The drinks were good, reasonably priced and served quickly. Overall, a decent place to eat and would have scored higher if the staff had used a bit of common sense regarding the roof fan. Quick update. Went back there for lunch today. Only part of the menu is available at lunchtime - pizzas were not available. This might be temporary but if you have someone in your party who eats only pizza (a pizzavore!) do check before sitting down.

This restaurant probably gave me the best (and biggest) tortellini that I have ever tasted in Italy given my three years of stay here! Also, the tiramiso was very delicious! The place is very warm and beautiful with the big mural on the wall. The waitress that day was also very hospitable and gave us a great service during our lunch there. I'm very satisfied with my experience and I would definitely go back here again!

Locale in centro storico, accogliente all'esterno, abbiamo pranzato sotto l'ombrellone sito sulla via di fronte al locale stesso. La proprietaria è accogliente e gentile, ci ha servito in tempi rapidi, tuttavia c'è da dire che i tavoli occupati erano solo due oltre il nostro. Per quanto concerne scelta del menù lo giudicherei nella norma, con le tipiche proposte gastronomiche toscane tra le quali segnalarei su tutto i pici all'aglione che erano davvero buoni. Passando alle note negative dico che oltre ai primi abbiamo ordinato un antipasto misto per quattro, ci è stato servito in un unico tagliere e (come si può vedere dalla foto del tagliere stesso), non era presente neppure una singola unità di ogni crostone o altra specialità, se si chiede un antipasto per quattro persone ci si aspetta che ognuno possa degustare ogni singolo elemento anche se viene presentato in un unico piatto di servizio, abbiamo quindi dovuto dividerci alcuni crostini col coltello tra di noi, questa è stata la nota negativa che fa scendere a tre le stelle meritate. Il conto finale è proporzionale al servizio e i piatti degustati.

Wir waren in den letzten Jahren sehr oft bei Maria, der Service, die Herzlichkeit und die Freundlichkeit waren hervorragend. Ihr Mann hatte auch sehr sehr lecker gekocht. Wir wurden dort immer sehr verwöhnt. Nun sind beide in den wohlverdienten Ruhestand und der Sohn hat übernommen. Absolut unfreundlicher Service, keine Freundlichkeit, keine Aufmerksamkeit. Bei Service und Ambiente 0 Punkte! Uns wurde bei Ankommen gesagt, dass wir einen Tisch aussuchen sollen. Da wir mit Hund waren, wollte ich einen Ecktisch. Das ging nicht, Aussage der Bedienung mit Augen verdrehen, dass dies ein 4er Tisch sei. Also mussten wir uns an engen 2er Tisch setzen, obwohl um 20h nur ein weiterer 2er Tisch besetzt war! Die Vorspeise wurde mit braunen und welken Salatblättern "dekoriert". Der Teller sehr lieblos. Zur Hauptspeise dann kein Besteck und nach Hinweis mit Schulterzucken gebracht. Essen war Ok, kein Vergleich zu vorher. Die Teller wurden nach Essen nicht abgeräumt, da die Bedienung mit Türe putzen beschäftigt war.
