questo è un ristorante SERISSIMO. l'ambiente è raffinato, gli arredi sono sobri e curati, la cucina è a vista èd è spettacolare, la gentilezza, la riservatezza e il garbo sono il top. venendo alla qualità delle pietanze: il top del top. ingredienti ricercati e sapientemente utilizzati dallo chef Nicola Morcinelli. i vino sono eccellenti. consiglio CALDAMENTE questo ristorante. VAI RAGAZZI!!!! CONTINUATE COSÌ!
p.s.: dopo aver mangiato lì, ho capito perchè il New York Times ha suggerito l'Osteria San Francesco a chi viene a Matera in vacanza e lo ha fatto a sopresa, cioè all'insaputa dei proprietari. fantastico! the Osteria San Francesco is GREAT place. the restaurant is surpisingly upscale, the furniture is clean, simple and elegant, the open kitchen is wonderful, the service is the top: gentle, efficient, polite, handsom. talking aboout the food's quality: over the top. the ingredients are refined and expertly cooked by the Chef Nicola Morcinelli. the wines are excellent. i warmly recommend this restaurant. Read moreIt was an hot sunny day in Matera, after the guided tour to the city we were really hungry. We found the place online, nice small restaurant at the corner of the square. There was no place to eat inside, but luckily it was a windy day (unusual) and we could eat outside without melting from the hot. We had "spaghetti chitarra al profumo di limone e burrata" and "spaghetti al tartufo" - pasta with scent of lemon and burrata cheese and pasta with summer black truffle.
