Past'ovo — Restaurant in Messina

It’s the first restaurant my husband and I visited once we came to Messina. The place looks nice, the waiter was hesitant when we asked him to advise us the best dishes at this place, as if he doesn’t know what’s on the menu, he was helpful though. There was only one napkin on the table, the seafood pasta lived up to my expectations. My husband’s past was regular, nothing special (pasta with pepper and sth else). I wish the waiter had advised us another dish. I think they should improve these small stuff and service issues and then it would be really good....

This restauraurant violates Italian law. My friend was refused service at this restaurant because his covid vaccine certification was from the US. Italian government, in its ordnance, states that US certificates are accepted for entry to Italy and for use inside the country. Our countless efforts to explain this to the waiter, who shoild have already been aware of it, were futile. Very unprofessional...

Siamo andati a pranzo in famiglia ...non avevano nulla da proporre come alternativa vegana , oltre che patate e panelle , classiche cose che trovi da per tutto e a prezzi più modici ....ho detto di essere intollerante al formaggio ...e niente nemmeno una semplice pasta e pomodoro ...in più mi è stata portata la crema ai 4formaggi nonostante l avessi detto .... è stato servito il vino in un modo scandaloso ...non preparano nemmeno i ragazzi a saper gestire il locale ...prima sono arrivati gli antipasti , poi i piatti e alla fine , quando ormai si era raffreddato tutto , il keckup....sto molta attenta ai dettagli ...e alla professionalità...essendo in pieno centro mi aspettavo un accoglienza differente ...con queste chiusure mentali e poca professionalità , la mia amata città , Messina, non risorge ...mi rattrista dover dare una stella, ma avrei dato anche meno se potevo farlo ... Non è giusto che non siate minimamente organizzati per una pasta e pomodoro...e gli altri debbano mangiare e una persona solo a guardare ...avendo la volontà in una cucina si può fare di tutto ...ma evidentemente manca...
