It took me a moment to realize it, but they cheated me. They charged me 6 euro for hot chocolate.

I ordered without asking to see the menu, since the price everywhere else in Milan is 2.5-3.5 euro max.

After I paid, it hit me I was ripped off. So I politely asked the owner why it was 6 euro, she said it's because it's an off menu item. Basically, she just made up a price.

She should have said so in advance when I ordered it. And when I asked her about the crazy price, it was an opportunity for her to correct her mistake, and give a partial refund. 6 euro is absolutely crazy and absurd (the price of a pizza/burger etc).

Loved the atmosphere and great hospitality. The only thing to be aware of is that the dishes are rather small, i think you're meant to order several, maybe 3-4 to share or take the tasting menu. We were not so hungry this evening so we werehappy anyway, good quality and lovely staff.
