A'Pazziella — Restaurant in Milan

I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough - this was the best meal we had in Milan. We were looking for somewhere that was open till late and ended up having a meal here at midnight. The lady serving us is the wife of one of the owners and her care for every detail was unmatched, she is the loveliest person and gave the best recommendations for both food and wine. Excellent Neapolitan food served with a friendly staff. Had dinner on the last evening in Milan upon reco of JR Hotel Milano staff. Did not expect just next door would be a gem. We had gnocchi and pizza. It was so good we said we will come back the next day.

We went back and learned that we needed to order for 2 person for best value, We ordered one pizza to share which they halved and charged us 7.50€ per half. So we ended paying 15€ for what would have been an 8€. A good learning...

Have been in Milan for the past 2 weeks, tried 14+ pizzerias, came back to this place 4 times. Something about the pizza itself and the special tomato sauce. Can recommend the Margarita(ofc), Diavola and La Porccicca (or sth of that sort). Staff is very friendly and came to check up on us 2-3 times throughout the dinner. English is limited, but better than most places and they try their best. Atmosphere was great, there weren’t a lot of people around 20 pm....
