Baja Sardinja — Restaurant in Milan

Set your expectations very low.

We had high hopes for this restaurant, planning it as the final dinner for our guests' trip. After researching the best seafood restaurants in Milan, we chose this one, only to be met with the worst service we've ever experienced. Despite having a reservation from 19:00 to 21:00, they made us wait outside in the cold until 19:15, even after confirming our reservation time of 19:00.

Once inside, the staff were indifferent and unwelcoming. They repeatedly interrupted us while we were deciding on our order. When we finally ordered, they were impatient and rude, showing clear annoyance when we asked questions. The constant yelling among the staff was very off-putting and gave us a headache.

When our mixed seafood dishes arrived, they only brought the seafood plates, so I asked for extra plates for everyone since we were sharing. Despite my request, they only brought 2 additional plates for 9 people. Additionally, the restaurant was not child-friendly, making the experience even more difficult as we had children with us.

The food itself was nothing special, no different from any other restaurant in Milan. Do not expect even a slight bit of service here, as you will not find it.

I wish we had known about the rude staff and poor service beforehand so we could have chosen a different place for our guests' last night...

I have to say it, this restaurant has a lot of potential to be a really good restaurant, the food was spectacular, but unfortunately the service was precarious in all its splendor, I don't know if it's a family business, but it seems that the staff is always angry or with a bad attitude is a shame, I hope the owner looks at this suggestion and do something, because believe or not, can be an amazing place to enjoy italian food. By the way, the best place i taste...

I've ordered a take away pizza and while I was waiting for it, I wanted to pay but I've been told that only cash is acceptable while the POS machine is standing right in front of me. Even though I've told I have no cash with me, they didn't accept so I left without my pizza that I was waiting for. How can a full, crowded restaurant accepts only cash and what is the purpose of that POS machine standing there? ...
