Blitz — Restaurant in Milan

We were told to wait 20-30 minutes for a table. After 45 minutes a group which came a few minutes after us with no reservation as well, were asked to the first available table before us. After asking for an explanation the server told us that if we don't want to wait any more we don't have to and lied that the group had a reservation (even though we clearly heard they arrived with no reservation, same as us). We sure did not wait anymore. Very poor customer service. The waiter was completely unserious and rude. No need to waste our time in the first place. They prioritised group was of course italian, so we were not really suprised to see that they were favoured, but still very dissapointing to see people being sorted based on their nationality. No issue with not getting a table without a reservation but extremely poor customer service and...

When you write down a comment about a restaurant, you would like to have the chance to talk only about food and things like that. It's sad this can't absolutely be one of that comments. I had a dinner at Blitz a couple of weeks ago. Unluckily, a bad experience. They don't ask for green pass, waiters don't wear their masks properly, they're always under their noses or, worse, their chins. Zero distances among tables, the place was insanely crowded, no windows. It looks like an incredible thing for me, in times of Covid19 and in a region which suffered so much because of the pandemic. Blitz for me is definitely a place to be in Milan, but only if you want to boost your chances to get Covid19. In a few words: direspectful...

Ate one of the best swordfish I ever had! The restaurant is a really traditional place and is packed so you have to make a reservation.

There is no menu, so the owner of the restaurant will tell you all their dishes out of his head, which is insanely fast, so if you hear something you like, just go for it because it tastes deliciouse!

At the end of your dinner they place all the bowls with biscotti and candies on your table and shots of limonchello on the house. One of the best experiences I had...
