According to the menu, this restaurant serves one of the 5 best cutlets in Milan, and I tend to believe it. The meat of the "cotoletta imbruttita" was very tender and fell right off the bone. The crispy breadcrumb coating was well-seasoned with salt and touches of orange zest, and had the perfect thickness in comparison to the meat. On the downside, the side of baked potatoes was small and too greasy for me, and it's a pity that the plate came without a side salad. We paired with a bottle of red Chianti Classico, which complemented the meat very well. As first course, we took 2 portions of the risotto zafferano with ossobucco to share among the table. Very generous portion, and the taste of the creamy risotto was incredible. On the downside, the restaurant was quite packed, and I could hardly get out of my chair to go to the bathroom. The interior was noisy and the waiters dropped food a couple of times, so the atmosphere could have been slightly better.

Fantastic food and great atmosphere, in a place where you will find one of the best "cotoletta alla milanese" (Milanese-style schnitzel) in Milan. I advise reserving: whilst the very friendly and helpful staff will do all they can to accommodate you, it is much better to play safe and make a reservation, and this for good reasons. This restaurant serves excellent food (besides their famous "cotoletta"), and is, understandably, full of satisfied patrons. A lot of local produce is used for the various dishes, both traditional and "traditional with a twist". From starters to desserts, many appetising choices and you will not regret it. The staff are very friendly and polite. A must if you are a schnitzel fanatic!

Pork is raw. It was towards the end of our meal that we realized that part of the pork was undercooked. We informed the staff of this issue but they told us it was normal and that the Cotoletta would have had raw meat. I'm wondering if I don't understand Italian food? Then the staff asked us "What do you want me to do?" I mean, how would I know what to do? Staff should be trained to know how to handle these things, right? I could feel the staff being attentive, but it was really disappointing that no one in the entire restaurant could handle this issue. We didn't want to waste too much time so we paid and left. Anyway, I just want to remind you in the review that you may eat incompletely processed food.
