Was pleasantly surprised by this modern but art deco restaurant. Menu seems Italo-Asian & what you get is better than described. Quality is superb & small-portion plating is fine dining-esque with reasonable prices considering what you get, although locals may complain it’s a little expensive. Ordered the Wagyu fried meatball situation & veggie spring roll with fried soft egg. Perfectly prepared. Pay close attention to portions as the appetizers have 2 options. The spring roll 1/2 portion was said to literally have half a roll but in fact it was 1 whole. The service was attentive & they were able to accommodate an off-menu item for my friend’s toddler. Beware though, I was told their Mezcal margaritas are to die for unfortunately the bartender is not available at lunch so we reluctantly settled for Prosecco & Spritz. Very unorganised, chaotic, below average food. Do not recommend, only if you’re in for a trendy instagram place. After waiting 25 minutes we got our pancakes, with a bland and sugary cream, supposedly matcha, only then half of the drinks arrived, the other half we had to ask for as no one came with it. After another 25 minutes we got the eggs royale. Came with a dry muffin, topped with a poached egg, definitely not fresh smoked salmon and a bland “hollandaise”, consisting of plain runny melted butter without any taste. No. Siamo venuti qui per un brunch carichi di aspettative viste le recensioni ottime ovunque. Eravamo 4 adulti e 3 bambini. A parte l'attesa sia per ordinare (20 minuti), che poi per mangiare (almeno 30 minuti), in due abbiamo ordinato le uova benedectine con bacon e gli altri due l'uovo cremoso al parmigiano. Ti aspetteresti un piatto caldo...invece era appena tiepido. Inoltre a me e alla mia amica hanno portato insieme alle uova la seconda portata, il sandwich al salmone, che già era anche lui tiepido, ma ha fatto in tempo a diventare freddo ora che avevamo finito di mangiare l'uovo, così come le patatine che lo accompagnavano. Al nostro amico invece, la sua seconda portata è arrivata solo dopo 4 solleciti e dopo che avevamo ormai finito tutti di mangiare. Lui ha ordinato un hamburger. Buono, ma la carne era calda, il pane freddo. Per finire abbiamo ordinato dei pancakes. Io li ho ordinati con le fragole e ho esplicitamente chiesto se venivano serviti con la confettura o solo con le fragole e mi è stato risposto che venivano serviti con una crema di fragole fresche e fragole a fettine...e invece mi sono arrivati solo con qualche pezzo di fragola. Ho chiesto quindi a una cameriera come mai non ci fosse la salsa e lei mi ha risposto in fretta dicendomi che venivano serviti così; ho chiesto allora all'altra cameriera alla quale avevo ordinato e mi ha risposto che era finita la salsa e quindi me li avevano portati così....(no comment!). Si sono offerti di portarmi degli altri pancakes, questa volta li ho presi con la salsa al gianduia, ma mentre ai bambini sono arrivati con la salsa sia tra i due pancakes che sopra, a me sono arrivati con solo un po' di salsa all'interno....forse avevano finito anche la salsa al gianduia?! mah... Per concludere il cibo sarebbe stato anche buono se non fosse stato freddo (e a parte i pancakes freddi, gommosi e asciutti), ma il servizio è davvero pessimo....sono veramente lenti e disorganizzati e in un posto dove si spendono 30 euro a testa mi aspetto cibo caldo e un servizio decente.
