This is an absolute gem. Spectacular hosts Helen and Jacopo, definitely know the art of hospitality, charming, knowledgeable and friendly. Wow! I went in and asked to try some Italian red wine. The waitress said ‘do you trust me?’ I said yes, and do you have some food? She said ‘how about bruschetta, meat and cheese?’ Absolutely fantastic, the whole lot! Highlights were the Parmigiano from 2011, the soft cheese with chestnut honey, and the cured meat of the strange animal that is a pig but looks like a sheep. Melt in your mouth!...
