It was fine. It was edible. It is a tourist trap, so watch out, they will take advantage of you. The beef was dry. I ordered Risotto alla Milanese. It was one of the more expensive things on the menu and it’s supposed to be a Milano speciality. The meat was dry and over cooked. The risotto was hard and bland and it had no flavor. The service was poor. I ate half my meal and asked for a box to take home the left overs—Even if it sub par I’ll eat it for lunch the next day—They threw away the rest of my meal and didn’t care about me, at all. They just shrugged at me. The waiter literally said “oh so well” “what do you want me to do?” I replied “I’d like the other half of my meal that I paid for!!! He just shrugged, “not my problem.” “I threw it away.” So, I paid €80 or $100 for a meal and asked for my left overs “to take away” and they threw it out. And I get nothing. Awesome. Thanks for your great service. Don’t go here. Not worth the price. Bad service. Subpar food. Tourist trap. Not...
Read moreMy partner and I dined at Osteria della Darsena for our short trip to Milan for my birthday celebration. We were greeted and seated by a distinguished, well turned out and smartly dressed gentleman who oversaw our dining experience from start finish. Service. The gentleman waiter was so attentive and proficient with his service. He recommended wine for us, giving us a couple of bottles to choose from. For me a simple menu is often an indicator that the food served will be good. I wasn’t wrong for this restaurant. Amazingly tasty food in good sized portions. Every course was flavoursome and left you stopping to savour each mouth full. The timing between each course was perfect and the waiter topped up our bread when he noticed the basket empty. All the attention to detail from him and the quality of food made for a perfect evening. I would highly recommend eating here if you are in Milan. You won’t be disappointed. Truly amazing dining experience for a self...

We habe been a group of 4 with a baby having dinner here. We shortly noticed that the waiter was serving all tables downstairs just by himself. So we already had to wait for like 20 minutes to get place our initial order. The starters arrived quite late and no one ever asked us again if we wanted to habe more dirks (like wine oder water). This lead us to just stay with 1 bottle of water and the aperetiv for the whole night. Unfortunately the waiter was so busy running around that there was even no chance to ask. But worst thing was the waiting time for the main dish. After 2h!! of no one talking to us we finally got informed that our order got lost. So we ended up having dinning at 10:30pm (after entering the restaurant at 8). When we payed, we got no sorry but rather even eyes...
