We booked for 22:00, we arrived on time but they weren’t ready and made us wait. So far ok. We ordered a beer and waited by the bar. It took them 15 minutes to give us our table. Fine with that, I’m not in a rush. Food was amazing, great pasta indeed. Atmosphere great as well. Now, it is 23:00 and they started to clean and tidy and we are yet finishing our main, weird but not complains about it. Thing is, when it comes to finish, we expect to be asked about deserts, coffee and so on, they don’t. They came with the bill without asking. I am sorry but if you make me wait, I do not think is nice to kick me out of the restaurant, regardless of the quality of the food. I don’t care, I paid for the full experience, and they didn’t provide. If you have a restaurant, and it runs into my family so I speak from experience, you know when to open but you close when all your customers are gone and satisfied.

This is clearly not this people’s goal. It is frustrating that you come from another country to get such treatment. Even though it shouldn’t have happened independently of customer circumstances.

Great food indeed, awful customer service.

And let’s not talk about the stuff not wearing the mask…

Disappointed

Edit after reply: Now you tell me that a baby girl was born last night… I don’t believe you. If you are a professional you let the customer know and give an apology in advance. If you are a father to be, you are at the hospital with your girls and not working… On top of that I didn’t see anyone of you rushing to go anywhere after we paid. This is just to save your face in public. If you have a bad customer service, either you take it as a constructive comment and try to improve or you write bs after a customers one. You did the second.

Ps You want the customer to ask you why are they rushed to leave the place when it is YOUR JOB to inform, so what are you talking about? Excuses, you are just really bad at customer service and even worst in...

Save yourself from the worst experience of your life. My boyfriend and I came here on a whim and were super excited about this beautiful restaurant we found. Our excitement was soon shattered by the atrocious service that was given to us. We sat down at a table and five minutes later, another couple came in. They were natives of Italy and were served promptly. We, on the other hand, were all but forgotten about. They didn’t bring us silverware, water, and they took a while to come take our order. Mean while, the couple next to us received their drinks and order all before we even got ours in. Our server spoke down to us and made it very obvious that he didn’t want to be our server. We put in an order for an appetizer and two meals. They forgot our appetizer and brought out our meals. The food was okay. The table next to us, they were checked on multiple time. Us? Not once. They served us warm water and no ice for the soda either. We needed a refill on our soda but no one came over. Even the food tasted mediocre at best, and as if they told the chefs to barely put in any effort. They take our plates and at this point, just wanting to salvage the rest of the night, we ask for the check. The server tells us to pay at the bar. I go to the bathroom and my boyfriend goes to stand at the bar. While waiting for me to pay (I had the cc in my purse), the server comes storming over to him, at the bar, where he told us to pay, and berates my boyfriend by saying, “YOU DIDN’T PAY YET! YOU CAN’T LEAVE!” As we are standing next to the place where he told us to pay! He accused us of trying to run out on the bill. Don’t waste your money or your time in Milan here, unless you want to experience disappointment...

Food: I ordered what I saw in one of the reviews. It is a lasagne with wild boar meat, and it didn’t disappointed me. I like how it was hot and creamy. Very taste! Mom’s lasagne/kinda like bolognesa with a meatballs (well it was a meat, wrap with cheese and I think it was spinatch?) well I didn’t like it that much. But since mom was satisfied, I’m giving full 5 stars 🌠 for the food!

Service: I think this comment is coming from a tourist who lives in a country with free water.😅 So I would just like to voice out my opinion about this. I would have love if we were given another set of bottled water without paying haha. But we opted not to purchase another bottle of water even though we were thirsty. Hehe. That’s why I’m giving 4 stars.🌠

Atmosphere: It was already full booked when we came at 20:10 in the evening. I like the idea of experiencing eating outside a restaurant (sidewalk). I have done it once in Navigli (Milan), but makes me unconscious because of the people passing by. I needed to take extra pecaution of my bag. But my mom had her own idea. She said eating outside makes the air circulate than eating inside. That’s why I’m giving 4 stars.🌠

Anyway, overall, I like that the waitress was very nice when she said to me that Gnocchi was vegetarian and she gave us tips as what we can order when we’re looking for pasta with meat.

I would definitely come back again because of the lasagne/pasta wild board meat.😋 Defintely...

We went to this restaurant based on reviews only to have our one dinner in Milan ruined. The ambience of the restaurant is okay but that’s all it has to offer. It’s not really a restaurant but more like a fast food joint. The waiter serving us wasn’t warm at all. This was our first restaurant experience in italy and we expected at least average standards. The food was downright atrocious. We ordered 6 lamb skewers, 1 pork sandwich and pasta. All of it was served within 10 mins. The lamb skewers were raw and bland. I couldn’t eat them and had to spit them out. And this is someone who eats lamb regularly. The pork sandwich tasted like a big soup of tomato paste and shredded pork didn’t taste fresh at all. My wife ordered pasta and she said it was very average. Overall, not a restaurant I would ever go to or ever recommend in Milan. Just stay away.

While not a native Italian, I have lived and worked in Milan for almost two years. I had recently been to Puglia on holiday and fell in love with the dish “spaghetti all’assassina.” I was excited to see this on the menu and specifically booked this restaurant so I could sample this dish. Service was fine and I don’t fault any of the staff for my 3 star rating. It’s just that the spaghetti really wasn’t prepared in the style of the dish. It was really just spaghetti. A true All’assassina is prepared like risotto with the dry noodles cooked slowly in the sauce with little stirring so that crusty burnt bits form. I felt that this preparation was spaghetti, thrown in a copper pan, and then placed in an oven to melt the cheese on top and burn a few of the bits. Not the same.
