Family run restaurant. The only reason we stopped in was because they had champions league on and most places were closing soon if not closed already. Not the biggest screen but whatever. Wi-Fi did not work as other reviews have stated.
The food was horrible considering this is ITALY, which is in my opinion the mecca of food. We ordered two basic dishes; gnocchi with pesto and ravioli with butter and salvia. As the menu did say some dishes are frozen however I did not expect these dishes to be as they're extremely basic and easy to make... the pesto sauce was way too creamy and lacked any basil flavor. There were no salvia leaves in the butter and salvia and the ravioli were also clearly freezer burnt before heated and served as they were crunchy on the pasta parts and soggy in the middle. This was honestly the worst food I’ve ever eaten in a restaurant in my entire life. Not to mention the table was full of crumbs when we first got there... should have taken that as a sign of how awful this place was going to be. I am always reluctant to leave bad reviews and I feel bad because it is clearly a family run restaurant but I cannot give false validation to the food served here with anything more than a 1-star review. My girlfriend and I barely ate half of our meals because it was that bad. DO NOT EAT HERE. You’re better off saving your money and getting canned instant pasta to microwave... it would taste a million times better. With no culinary experience you can make better with jarred pesto and packaged pasta...
Read moreWe were looking for a place to eat and found this one by chance (close to Stazione Centrale) and it is DELICIOUS! We had the Calzone della Casa and a pizza and both were really really good! (Portions are big, so if you eat a little, you may want to share). The prices are also very recent and appropriate for food quality and size (pizzas and Calzone are between 6-9 € depending on ingredients).
The waiters were super friendly and kind, and the service in general was great. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
UPDATE: We came back to try the breakfast options and were not disappointed at all! Delicious as well! We had the omelette, cake of the day and Orange juice. All ingredients are fresh, the portions were really good and again, the service was amazing! The waiters are very friendly and helpful. Oh, and their lemon sorbette...
Read moreThe reviews looked so good, so we went. We now know that the reviews are only so good because EVERY guest there is asked for a good review on Google. There were signs outside with dishes and prices, and somehow they didn't match the menu. The dishes were pretty expensive considering the ambiance was not that pleasant. We went to a much nicer restaurant yesterday and payed less. They even charged us 4€ tips. Two TVs were on at the same time, which was extremely distracting. The most annoying thing was that there were two of us and one of us finished eating before the other person got their food. We watched each other eat. The food was okay, but nothing special; the buns were dry and hard. I definitely don't recommend...
