On the way to our hotel, my colleagues and I came across this restaurant and were immediately curious about it. One of my friends read almost all the reviews and gently encouraged us to have a meal together.
Since we didn’t know much about Italian cuisine, the owner kindly took the time to explain everything with patience and even selected a wine that paired perfectly with our dishes. It was a wonderful experience— the warm and welcoming atmosphere made it easy to connect with strangers in our group, and of course, the lovely wine helped break down any barriers.
The interior was spotless, and even the smallest decorative objects seemed to have a story behind them, which piqued my curiosity. Most importantly, the prices were very reasonable. If I ever visit Milan again, I will definitely return without hesitation.

We had the lasagne, an arancini with stracciatella and nduja, and something Paolo recommended but I forgot the name. It was like a quiche. Oh wow it was great. A great selection of wine too. I drank the Ribolla. Great service from Paolo he had so much energy and was so welcoming, the definition of "Prego" and great cooking from Barbera! Chefs kiss. I wish I had taken a photo and I wish we were staying longer in Milan so we could go back....

I especially loved the Tarte Tartin, but you will find that the whole place is filled to the brim with delicious local specialties both sweet and hearty, some even family recipies! You can take seat in the cozy outside area or order take-away to enjoy your treats at home. The staff was great, too - super friendly and kind and very passionate about their food, taking the time to explain about your order and answer any question you might have. 10/10, I can't recommend this...
