Si no, huye.
A 4.6 rating? Are you kidding me? I can't believe this place has such a high score. I fell for it because I didn’t read the reviews carefully. I saw the 4.6 and thought, “must be good.” Rookie mistake. The food? Meh. It was fine, sure, but nothing special. It came out so fast it already smelled microwaved… and I was right. Portions were so small, in my country we call that a “tapa,” and in many places you get those for free with a beer. Here, they charge you like it’s haute cuisine. And then the grand finale: the bill. Almost €80 for two bottles of water and four tiny, soulless reheated dishes. They even charge you for “service,” a hidden tip that I’m happy to pay elsewhere—where you actually get some service. Here, they don’t even bring the bill to the table. Service? Where? Dropping plates like you're delivering parcels isn’t service. I’ve eaten more, better, and for less money just about everywhere during my stay in Italy: neighborhood bars, proper restaurants, even in airports and service stations. This was hands down the worst place I’ve been to. My conclusion: if you want to pay Michelin-star prices to eat gas station food… go ahead. If not, run.
Voto 4,6?
Read moreWe entered the restaurant and we got seated outside but because of the smoke we went inside. You could easily see that the waiter had some kind of problem with us. He started insulting us in Italian (dear waiter you should think first and act second before u speak. Not all tourists don’t speak Italian so we know what you said to us😉) When we wanted to order our food I asked for carbonara and suddenly the pasta went out, it was finished. Just imagine you are going to a restaurant that sells practically only pasta and it’s gone. It was only some kind of revenge on us I don’t really know why and when we heard that fantastic news about the pasta we said that we will not sit here while he is having some kind of revenge on us. This is not how you should treat a customer. I’m not sure about the other waiters but the one we got was mean and I think that’s unacceptable. In the end I wanted to mention that when we walked by the restaurant later we saw a lot of people having pasta....

My wife and I ordered the ff:
Fried Bites: Seaweed Bites (You can skip this)
Tortelli: Capelleti with Bolognese Ragu (it was good but not even close to the MastroTortelli).
MUST Order:
MastroTortelli: Cacio E Pepe and Carbonara. (Wanted to try the Pesto but we were too full). Inredible burst of flavor. Truly a michelin dish! You can easily tell that the dough is different
Do yourself a favor and order the dishes under the MastroTortelli. The flavor difference is HUGE compared to the regular Tortelli. Price difference is too little.
I will be dreaming of this when we...
