I am beyond upset!! I went here with my 7 year old daughter the other day. I have been here at least a dozen times or more in the year that I’ve lived here and a few times before that. However, the other day was my last time. I always thought the place is quaint and clean, but the staff have always been distant and not very nice. My daughter wanted to try a granita in a pointed cup for the first time. Well, as soon as she got it, it fell immediately on the floor. The girl working said nothing! I expected her to immediately say something and offer even a little cup to my daughter who was screaming bloody murder. I had just paid 3,10€ and nothing!! THE GIRL SAID ‘IT IS NOT MY FAULT AND I CAN DO NOTHING!’ SERIOUSLY???? Who says that to a little girl in a room filled with people and doesn’t offer a replacement?? I had to pony up another 3,10€ for another one for my screaming daughter and HAD TO WAIT, as the girl had already gone on with another customer!!! I was livid!!! I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT BACK IN THIS PLACE! The blonde girl there, probably around 20 years old, has the personality of dead wood and zero customer service skills. She should be fired and everyone else in there as well. I mean how hard is it to replace ONE granita??? I’m sure they throw away a lot every day!! Disgusting and greedy place. I suggest to avoid!! Furthermore, Mela Verde is at Piazza Martini and their gelato is much better and the girls are ALWAYS nice!! Another point to be made here is my daughter got a popsicle recently at another bar and didn’t like the flavor and the owner could see she wasn’t happy and just offered her another one without paying!!
