Mister Hu — Restaurant in Milan

Don’t go there if you don’t speak Italian, the woman at the cashier is a racist and rude person. She misunderstood my order and gave me a wrong one and made me pay more for it, then when I told her about her mistake after receiving my order she was blaming me for not speaking Italian and I ended up throwing the food away. I asked her kindly if she can prepare my initial order and she refused in the most rude manner (although it was her fault). So I ended up paying for food I didn’t even eat. Never going there again. There is no standard for the dining experience. Although I’ve brought many friends here and visited multiple times because it’s cheap and edible, the only woman working here is consistently rude and arrogant, showing no respect or patience. But maybe it’s our fault because we are Chinese and she‘s doing well with foreigners. The food is served in plastic bowls, which isn’t environmentally friendly. Per la serie: l'abito non fa il monaco. Se cercate un posto "carino" state alla larga, ma se volete mangiare un ottimo cinese spendendo quattro soldi, è il posto che fa per voi!

La cucina di Mister Hu è ottima. La selezione non è vastissima, ma ha tutti i classici e qualche variazione interessante (provate il riso funghi e vitello e i gamberi ai porcini, non ne sarete delusi). La cucina è di livello superiore alla media dei ristoranti cinesi low-cost.

Il locale è un buco più adatto all'asporto che a mangiare in loco. Il servizio è rapido ma sgarbato oltre ogni dire; la vecchia proprietaria, in particolare, è veramente bisbetica (ma non se gli sei simpatico, il che è, a occhio e croce, assolutamente arbitrario). La porta della cucina, in compenso, è spesso spalancata, il che lascia intravedere il buono stato di pulizia dei fornelli e dei wok.

Il prezzo è inferiore alla media dei ristoranti cinesi low-cost. Con dodici euro ci si rimpinza davvero per benino.
