I was recently at Napiz pizzeria, we were served by Madjid, and my expectations were exceeded! The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

The highlight was, without a doubt, the pizza dough. It was smooth, soft and had a slightly salty flavor, which definitely stood out among the flavors present in the pizza. Despite the delicious filling, it was the dough that surprised us.

Another pleasant surprise was the speed of the delivery service. It arrived faster than expected, and the food was deliciously hot.

Overall, this pizzeria was an amazing experience. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the experience was wonderful. If you're looking for great, well-prepared pizza, I recommend you try this pizzeria. You will not regret!

Technical Review:

1- QUALITY OPPRODUCTS

As far as the quality of the products is concerned, the pizzeria did not disappoint. The ingredients were fresh, first rate and the doughs and fillings seemed to have been lovingly prepared.

2- PERSONALITY OF CHEF

I ordered the pizza recommended by the chef, I was surprised with an authorial pizza called “Pomet Classico”. The chef stood out for his knowledge of flavors. The pizza was seasoned well but not overly salty. The balance between flavors was very good. Also, the cooking technique was remarkable as the dough was slightly crispy. Excellent presentation!.

3 - VALUE FOR MONEY

The pizzeria offered a lot of value for the price. The pizzas were large and stuffed full of amazingly good ingredients.

4 - CONSISTENCY The team was consistent throughout the service providing the same high level throughout the night.

5 - MASTERY OF FLAVOR, COOKING TECHNIQUE

Saw that this restaurant had good reviews and so we were eager to try it. When we arrived, we were seated immediately (7:30pm and only one table inside available). Made to feel really welcome and everything started so well. At this point we were prepared to give it a 5 star for service. We were given complimentary wine and appetiser, with a chilli oil dip. We ordered food and it arrived very quickly so no complaints there. The food itself was delicious, cannot fault it. Same with the drinks. A waiter came over and asked if we wanted dessert, we ordered the tiramisu and cheesecake and once again no complaints, was very nice and makes for a perfect light dessert. HOWEVER!! After dessert we then waited for our plates to be collected and to speak to someone regarding the bill and had to wait 35 minutes before anyone came to check on us or ask if were okay. Prior to this, we were going to order more drinks, but due to nobody coming over and instead clearing the plates of nearby tables, we soon gave up waiting. I signalled a waiter (older gentleman) for the bill, and he did not speak and instead pointed towards the door. We didn’t understand and stayed seated, as others who paid had limoncello given to them after their meals at the table. We did not receive either and had to stand by the exit in order to pay. From where we were sitting, we were the only ones who had to do this. We are English and did not see/hear any other English speaking people. As much as I hate to say it, as I’ve felt so welcome by the locals in Milano so far staying here, i feel me and my partner were treated differently due to this. So if you are English, id recommend the food 100%, but don’t expect anything special/ the same treatment as locals...

Never again !

Came to the restaurant, sat at the table - and I said ,,I’m gonna order beer now and pizza in 20 min “ I was thinking, what wrong am I doing. As response I’ve heard that ,,this is not how the restaurant works. In 20 min restaurant will be full and I have to order now. “ I’ve tried to speak with the waiter for quite some time (both of us in a polite manner , which I appreciate) that to say something like this is so inappropriate and rude but waiter was insisting this is how it is here so I gave up. I’ve had my food , drink - while paying I just wanted to bring to their attention that such treatment and As I mentioned that restaurant wasn’t even full for the last 50 min I’ve been here , is so rude and in appropriate. I’ve heard from the owner/manager that ,,what else do I expect “ I come , I eat and I leave.

I’m not a prince and j don’t expect 5* treatment but there are limits I hope one day they realize

Food is great I gotta say, it’s amazing. But never felt so disrespected and all I only wanted from them, is to let me enjoy my beer for Aprox 20 min before I eat

EDIT I have been laughed in my face in Italian, and asked to leave . I have requested to pay, as my goal wasn’t free food, and as I mentioned I enjoyed the taste itself. A very popular spot. When we arrived, there was a queue for large groups, not too long, but it was there. They were being kept happy with glasses of Prosecco. Luckily, as it was only me and my partner, we were seated almost instantly at one of the two seat tables outside… beautiful. By the time we were there it was already dark but the scenery was lovely, even though it was on the side of a residential road. It gave it that amazing authentic feel. Onto the main event… the food… and what can I say but WOW! This was one of the best pizzas I have ever had. The base was thin with that little bit of crisp and the crust was doughy and beautiful. The toppings were perfect and so well balanced and overall just a complete taste sensation. For desert we had Tiramisu and what more can you say? It’s the reliable, fantastic. The staff were so friendly, helpful and just all in all good at their job. Finally the price. Fantastic. You cannot go wrong, great value for amazing taste. If you are visiting Milan and have a fancy for pizza then look no further than Nàpiz’ Milano. It is absolutely the best you’ll find around. When we return to Milan, this will absolutely be on the list of places to stop off at.

The base itself was a work of art: light, crisp on the outside, with that perfect chew in the middle. Priced to perfection with fresh-tasting, beautifully balanced pizza, and worth every euro. When a pizza base is made this well, it’s a sign you’re in the hands of people who care. To round off the night, I went for a classic tiramisu and a refreshing lemon sorbet. Both did not disappoint – the tiramisu was creamy and indulgent, while the sorbet was the perfect zesty palate cleanser. Napiz Milano isn’t just a pizzeria – it’s a place where flavour, freshness, and craft come together in one very satisfying experience 🍕
