Good schnitzel, fast service, great beers - it was good, cheap and basic - takes credit card and also have English translations on the menu - perfect for my needs! The decor feels a bit bright and crowded, reminiscent of a school dining hall. Wifi worked fine - waiter had me connected quickly; the waiters were quite speedy, bringing me bread and oils to the table almost upon arrival (and refilling the bread basket when it got empty). I ordered a Cotoletta: a Pork schnitzel - it came with chips but was a bit bare otherwise... it needed some veg or a gravy as it felt a bit dry. The beers were good, nice and strong (the light beer 5.5% and 7% for the dark one, a Bock) - definitely had a great sleep after that. For tourists: don't forget that most places in Italy carry a service charge; for this place it was €2. Something rare for this size of place is the number of waiters: 7 or so, all circulating the floor, ready to hop in for service. They certainly don't keep you waiting! I returned 6 months later and was greeted by a doorman handing out mini pizza samples, who then showed me in and handed me off to a waiter. Table service is fast and efficient - I've amended my review and granted them another star! This time I had a fish dish, baked sea bass with salad and tomatoes, a delicious fresh fish. Oh, and the bock beer, of course!

We arrived in Milan quite late...having only a couple of hours of sleep before heading to Venice. This restaurant was really just across the street from our Hotel and had decent Feedback. It was still quite warm (with a jacket), so we took a seat outside. The menu was quite big. Chose some seafood spaghetti and spaghetti carbonara. A small bottle (50cl) of white wine with. Service was friendly and the atmosphere very homely and relaxed. Prices - for Milan - were fair. We've been to Italy many time and travelled up and down the country and countryside. So we wondered how this food will hold up. Turns out that the Seafood Spaghetti were a bit disappointing. Lacked of flavours and were probably (at least partly) frozen products. The Carbonara on the other hand was really very good. Thick Spaghett, cooked to perfection (al dente), nice heavy sauce and good bacon. Looked good...tasted good. The wine was decent as well. So, one hit...one miss. But all in all we really had a good time and for all that it gets four stars.

Be careful, they might try to overcharge you!!! Mixed feelings about this place. Food was really good, but I can’t say the same about customer service. When I asked for the dessert menu, they broad a tray with all the deserts, when I saw the bill I realised they did that to over charge me, 8,50€ for a small portion of tiramisu!!! In the menu this dessert was cheaper. When I got the bill I realised they were charging too much, they left the receipt from the card machine and took the detailed bill, I went inside and asked to check the bill. Suddenly I had 5 people working there giving me their opinion in a very shouty Italian way, that was very overwhelming. They took 2.5€ per coperto(table clothe service)! They didn’t explain this nicely, one of the waiters said to me in a really rude way: that’s how it is here, welcome to Italy! This waiter with light eyes was rude from the beginning to the end, making this an unpleasant experience.

A decent place, service from one of the people was excellent and friendly. The other person sitting behind the desk seemed extremely disinterested in interacting with me, and I was left standing at the desk for a minute or two. Once sat, service was quick. I didn’t care for the bread served, but the wine was decent at €5. I ordered the carbonara and while it visually provided a nice picture, I felt it was lacking a bit more salt, and it seemed a bit too thick. Ultimately at €26 for a glass of house white, and carbonara that was ok, I think this rates as average. If you’re in the area and need a bit to eat between trains, you’ll get friendly (assuming it’s not the other guy behind the counter) service and food out in around 7-10 minutes.

Terrible experience. We faced racism and discrimination by one of the waiters who treated us completely different and not nice from other tables. First, he ignored our table during dining, he only asks other “white ”table whether they enjoy the food. Then he won’t bring us the bill and ask us to go inside ourselves to get the bill. The reason he gave us is only cash can be paid outside. While I just saw other tables pay at the table outside using card. After arguing he still won’t give us the bill. When I say I want to speak to the manager, he changed the attitude and brings us the bill. What? Now the outside can paying by card after 10 seconds? Then he changed the reason to it was too busy;)

Negative experience sorry, we order different pastas and pizza. All pasta where or overcooked or “to much al dente” Taste average, low quality products. Pizza the worst part, as a pizza chef myself, I couldn’t finish my pizza, tomato sauce was old and tasted off… The dough was still raw inside. (You can tell from the colour inside still very gluey) Also slightly cold probably pizza is been sitting there for a lil while. The service was average friendly but still a bit rushing slightly rude but not bad. Price to high for the experience and quality. Definitely good for who travel in hotels for work and no need any experience. Stay away if you need a real Italian food 👌
