Pacino Cafè — Restaurant in Milan

We had a reservation at 19:30 for a graduation, arrived less than 10min late and they had already given away the table. The waiters were visibly ashamed at this situation and made us talk to the owner. After waiting a bit we showed him it was 19:41 only, and he had obviously given the table after 5min since everyone was already sitted. Instead of apologising like you would expect, he tried to justify himself saying we were a bit late and he could not know if we would be even more late. Ridiculous. Of course at the time there were no more places in the area for so many people, so we had to go home. Awful experience. Do not go here if you expect a minimum of decency.

Update to answer the owner: not sure how you get this information considering by 20:00 we were already long gone. We informed you asap that we would be 7 instead of 9, which means we would have freed the right amount of space within reasonable time. The table was obviously already gone 5 min after the time in any case, so your mistake remains. How hard is it to say "I am sorry, I made a mistake because I was in a rush and we had many people". Awful place, we ask for a knife for a small birthday cake and the staff arrive in a bad mood saying how can we do it and that it was a un respectful thing to do, and that no one ever have done it before. Knowing we are foreigns, new in italy and we didn’t know their special rule. They should be more considerate and more professional, Milan is an international city. PLEASE DONT COME SO YOU DONT HAVE THE SAME EXPERIENCE.

EDIT: learn to have maners if you run a place, after yelling us in the restaurant like we were animals you come here and respond in the most awefull manner. a simple no external food...

It has been a long time since I last have been night-time to this (if you're a Milanese docg) 'must-know' place. Lately I was passing by daytime for some coffees or either an early eve beer or so.. but I tonight I did really appreciate my friends' choice to get here, I rediscovered a great environment.. the space, both out and indoor looks great, the staff with that smiley mood that makes u feel good at all time, the drinks (I guess this cheers goes to the barman, ain't it?)..
