I’ve been a regular customer at this ice cream shop (as an international), and I’ve always found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. However, my recent visit was quite disappointing due to a negative experience with the customer service.

I came to pick up a package, and as I was standing in line, the male staff member abruptly shouted at me, “What’s your number?” This immediately struck me as odd and unprofessional. Thankfully, his female colleague assisted me afterward, but I was deeply bothered by his behavior for two reasons:

He didn’t greet me in a friendly manner. He assumed that I was a delivery person there to pick up an order.

Why would he assume I’m a delivery person? Is it because of how I look (Indian)?? I asked the female colleague if he indeed thought I was the delivery person, and she confirmed it. I expressed to her that this was not only unfriendly but also came across as discriminatory, if not outright racist. I felt extremely uncomfortable.

The female staff member was honest and acknowledged that her colleague’s behavior was inappropriate, and she apologized, although she had done nothing wrong herself. The male staff member, however, offered no response, showing a complete lack of courtesy and professionalism. It was a very unpleasant and unfriendly experience.

This kind of service is damaging to the store’s reputation, which is unfortunate. It’s important to be mindful of who you allow to represent...

Su invito, ci siamo recati in questo locale che da non molto ha effettuato delle modifiche strutturali aggiungendo una parte con tavolini ed espositori. Di primo impatto ci ha colpito molto l'ambiente molto pulito, luminoso grazie alle due vetrine ed hai colori delle pareti e alla semplicità dell'arredamento.

Valore aggiunto è la scelta di utilizzare i congelatori a pozzetto per i gelati e granite da servire, che pur non consentendo la visione del prodotto ne permettono una conservazione migliore.

Scegliamo di prendere un cono da €3,50 con due gusti: pistacchio e vita spericolata. Gusti che potrebbero essere perfezionati ma dai quali si percepisce al palato l'ottima qualità dei prodotti. Vita spericolata è un gusto particolare un eccezionale equilibrio di sapore fra burro di arachidi, nutella e pezzi di nocciola che avvolge il palato di uno squisito sapore. Assolutamente da provare!!!

Buono anche il rapporto prezzo/quantità.

Da sottolineare la gentilezza del personale, che dopo aver preso il cono ci ha fatto degustare alcune granite siciliane di loro produzione...un piacevolissima esperienza. Il gusto pistacchio è fantastico come anche la mandorla e le altre varianti come anguria, pesca, gelsi rossi che abbiamo assaggiato sono buone ma non alla pari delle prime.

CONCLUSIONE: locale molto accogliente dove gustare a piacere gelati e granite di buona e ottima qualità. Ho dato cinque stelle pur essendoci ancora qualcosa da migliorare ma avendo comunque percepito la voglia di fare e  l'utilizzo di materie di qualità. Locale che assolutamente consiglio. Bravi!!!
