Prince Café — Restaurant in Milan

We came for an aperitivo despite the poor reviews we saw. Sadly, overall I have to agree.

Let's start on a positive note with the service. A+. Greeted with a smile, served immediately, fast workers, polite, pleasant. The staff seem excellent.

On to the drinks. $8 for a standard size fruit drink is ludicrious. Sure, it was tasty, no fault with the quality here either but I wouldnt price it more than $3.50, $4.50 if I was being extortionate. $8 is a disgusting price though.

Now the food. Sadly, although there was some decent variety, nothing was particularly good. Some of the food was cold, the sauce for the flavorless meatballs had dried up, and the cake was getting hard - a testament to how long it had been out in the open for. None of the food I could give more than a 4 out of 10 for, and I'm not a picky person. The average rating for the food, I'd give it a 3 out of 10. The small, plastic plates for children also made it hard to enjoy the meal as an adult, having to keep returning with small portions.

For the location, the seating area outside was nice. The sofa is certainly too small for the table though so that wasn't good, though the chairs were perfect.

I wish I could give more stars but I can't and as a summary, here is what brings this place down: Disgustingly extortionate drink prices. Questionable quality food Some of the seating inappropriate/uncomfortable for use with the provided tables.

Per la prima volta ho provato questo locale. Non c'erano tantissime cose ma COSA ECCEZIONALE per me c'era ... VERDURE SEMPLICI IN GRAN QUANTITÀ. Sono vegana, cuoca e pasticcera vegana, prediligo cibi integrali, senza glutine e senza ingredienti di origine animale, non bevo alcolici o drink vari. Ho osservato altri locali prima di entrare e mancavano varietà di verdure che qui invece c'erano: broccoli, spinaci, carote, zucchine, melanzane. Mi si sono illuminati gli occhi. Se le patate fossero state senza carne sarebbe stato il massimo e le avrei gradite tanto!!! Sono tornata a casa e ho fatto un pesto di basilico dell'orto rivisitato molto buono con un pò di anacardi e macadamia, alloro fresco e semi di finocchio e una salsina al tahin umeboshi con limone della mia terra in sicilia fermentato al sale rosa. Non sapevo se potevo portarli ... così ho osato. VERDURE, ALGHE MISTE che ho portato, SALSINE ... UNA SUPER CENA DELIZIOSA e se solo qui troverò questa varietà di verdure ... è qui che tornerò ancora e ancora!!! OTTIMO seppur mi era stato sconsigliato. Clean...

After we ordered drinks (but haven't finished yet) the bartender came and asked us to pay. She told us about a price that was way more than the price of the drinks we ordered. We asked for clarification multiple times, but got nothing. They agreed that the price increas is not visible anywhere on the menu, yet we must pay it. Avoid this place...
