Movida Restaurant&CocktailBar — Restaurant in Milan

Cannot put a zero unfortunately… 2 tables sending back their food, us being served in 1,5 hour, the table beside us being told 1/2 hour later that the desert they ordered is not available… and one table leaving it all to just go… This was a hard experience for us tonight… Never ever again. The kitchen and service have extreme problems… WE ATE THE BREAD GIVEN BY OUR NEIGHBORS! after requesting it many times… And no tables have been cleaned after the people left, in order to not confront us while not being served.. (photos of tables staying this way for more than an hour) And on top of this, nobody listen us other than the person serving… Run from there if you don’t want to waste...

A friend of mine studying in Milan took us to Movida for Aperetivo. We were sitting inside and I really loved the location! There is music but not so loud that you can't talk anymore to each other. The atmosphere is great, very modern and cozy at once. The food was delicious and I did not miss anything. Fish, Meat, Vegetables and I guess most of it was traditional Italian Food. Besides the food, the cocktails were amazing! They don't have the "normal" drinks on the menu but rather special cocktails and it is definitely worth trying them. Came here for apertivo and the food was good however, the "cocktails" were fruit juice with a splash of alcohol. Would have stayed for a second drink after eating but it was clear that it wasn't worth the money.

Our waiter was friendly and did a good job but there was an older gentleman working/loitering out front who had a really bad attitude and was very rude.

Based on the fact that there are so many apertivo and great cocktail bars in the area and the rude reception we received I cannot recommend Movida...
