Wang Jiao — Restaurant in Milan

Coming in from a long day of travel, I found this place while the food was excellent. I can't say the say about the service or atmosphere. I don't know the language very well and was treated with the most disrespect I've ever encountered. From the lady treating me as a child describing what red and white wine is when I asked for a good recomened red wine. She was consistently on her phone, and i had to ask for her to bring me any drink while she gave a face as if she didn't want to serve me looking at a fellow staff member eating infront of all of us instead of helping there guests. All while speaking Italian to other guests about how I don't understand her and having them throw their hands in the air as if I was wrong to want to eat there. I might not be fluent in your language but definitely can understand and see when someone is trying to make a fool out of me. Ottimo..consigliato decisamente. Non sono un profondo conoscitore della cucina orientale ma sicuramente posso dire che a tutti noi sono piaciute le pietanze scelte. In particolare abbiamo preso ravioli alle verdure, riso saltato con le verdure, spaghetti saltati con le verdure, ravioli con gamberetti, riso saltato all'anatra e scodella di fuoco di maiale con le arachidi. Solo quest'ultima pietanza si è dimostrata molto molto piccante: non fatevi ingannare dal colore, le cose più piccanti sono quelle verdi!!! Comunque a parte questo abbiamo trovato squisiti il riso saltato alle verdure e gli spaghetti saltati alle verdure (consigliatissimi); il riso all'anatra ottimo ma forse leggermente asciutto (suggerito utilizzare la salsa di soia); anche i ravioli erano buoni ma non proprio memorabili. Comunque il menù è molto ampio e ha una offerta che può soddisfare sicuramente i gusti più svariati: noi lo abbiamo esplorato solo per una piccola parte dell'offerta. Il locale è moderno e da l'idea di pulito; è mediamente rumoroso ma si riesce a parlare al tavolo. Il servizio è molto veloce nonostante l'affollamento. I camerieri parlano italiano ed è facile farsi capire ed ordinare; a richiesta ci sono forchette, cucchiai e coltelli. Nelle bevande compaiono, oltre alla classica birra TsingTao, la Heineken e una discreta scelta di bottiglie di vini rossi e bianchi. È possibile prendere il vino anche a calice. Wang Jiao has been very popular for a while within the chinese community in Milan. The best one is in via Casati so far. This time I tried the one in via Padova; its not as good as via Casati branch. The roasted duck and fry rice pasta are the signiture dish in my opinion. The rest are not exciting and cooking style is quite different. I would prefer to go back to Wang Jiao in Casati branch. However the seating and space are comfortable and clean. No parking available and its near to Loretto...
