An amazing patisserie and one of the most famous ones in Amalfi coast area. We took some pastries & cakes for take away to munch on the beautiful doc right in front of the shop for breakfast. The first one was a mini pie version of torta della nonna which is one of my favorite cakes, and it was sooo delicious! Crumbly crust pie with patissiere cream that was just the right amount of sweet topped with pine nuts. The second one was baba a limoncello, a twist to the original baba a rum that most bakeries offer, and it was soaked with limoncello sauce and filled with limoncello cream inside. It was very well made but I guess out of the 4 pastries we took this one our least favorite one. The third pastry we tried was a slice of their pistachio cream cake which was creamy, very very sweet but with a gentle taste of pistachio. Lastly, we tried their sfogliatella frolla which was filled with ricotta cheese and orange zest and was so moist inside but still a bit crispy on the outside - the perfect combination. If you're in Minro or Ravello area, I'd very much recommend visiting this shop as they're definitely experts in what they do and there's a huge selection of pastries and sweets so anyone can find their favorite.

Sal de Riso is a beautiful (and very busy) pasticceria along the Amalfi Coast. Sadly, there was a bit of a wait for a table, so we opted for the stand up service (which is quite common in Italy). There are four parts to the location; the main dining room with table service and seating, the bar, the boutique and the gelateria. It’s obviously a very touristy destination, so the prices are inflated - 1€ for an espresso, and 5€ for a small slice of cake. Likewise, you can expect to pay a little more for products and souvenirs. (The larger chocolate in the photo was 24€.) The espresso was not very good, however the slices of Italia and Asia we tried (cakes in the attached photos), were VERY good. We’ll likely return to try other flavours! The bathrooms were extremely busy. Waited about 10 minutes (there is only one for each men and women) and they were disgusting to be honest. They did have toilet seats and toilet paper though! (Not always available) The location itself was very beautiful, with a seaside view that I wish we could have taken advantage of. Recommend a stop, but it could be hit or miss depending on how busy it is 🤷🏼♀️

On Saturday with my friends we toured the entire coast and passing through Minori we stopped at this famous pastry shop to try the lemon delight. I had already heard negative opinions about it but I wanted to try it myself. The delight in terms of taste is normal, nothing more than a normal pastry shop. My trusted pastry chef in central Naples makes it a hundred thousand times better... but maybe it's just taste, for goodness sake. Maybe I can understand that I don't understand anything about it... and that's fine, but if other people also think the same, then there is some truth. On the other hand, today, as in all things, you only pay for the name and nothing else; €6 for a normal delight is absolutely exaggerated. If you charge €3 for it then I can also understand it. However, it is just a once in a lifetime experience, but in the future I recommend other pastry shops, perhaps less famous but cheaper and tastier. Obviously cheap does not mean absolutely poor. I advise tourists not to visit. Waste of money.

I recently visited Pasticceria Sal De Riso and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and the aroma of freshly baked pastries. The display cases were filled with a mouth-watering array of cakes, cookies, and pastries that looked almost too good to eat. The staff were knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, and they helped me select a few items to try. I must say, every single item I tried was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and complex, and the textures were perfect - light and airy where they needed to be, and dense and chewy where appropriate. Overall, Pasticceria Sal De Riso exceeded my expectations in every way. The quality of their products is outstanding, and their attention to detail and passion for their craft really shines through in every bite. If you're looking for some of the best pastries in town, look no further than Pasticceria Sal De Riso - you won't be disappointed!

There isn't much to do and aren't too many places to eat in Minori, so we ended up here for dinner on two separate occasions. The second visit failed to meet already low expectations. The tuna tartar was edible, the pizza diavola was worse than you can get at a truck stop. It tasted worse than it looked, if that's at all possible. Got the 20 euro charcuterie board on the second visit, and had quite possibly the worst meat and cheese available in Italy. One of the meats was mortadella, ugly and tasteless, and the prosciutto was so rubbery, it seemed like month-old leftovers. Separately, got a little pistacchio pastry to go, and it was fine, but definitely far from the best dessert one can have in Italy. At least it wasn't month-old leftovers. To top it off, everyone on staff acts like they're doing you a favor, bringing you revolting, overpriced food.

I enjoyed this place thoroughly from the restaurant to the pastry shop to the bar across the street with the sea view. I was traveling solo and was served promptly and warmly and greeted by the chef himself as well as guest chef who was visiting his hometown of Minori, Gennaro Contaldo. I enjoyed the ndunderi, the local type of ricotta gnocchi with a meat ragu which was delicious. The delizie al limone was delicate and a speciality of the area. I enjoyed a white wine from Avellino, the town of my grandparents and the following day enjoyed the pizza amalfi with lemon, ginger, smoked mozzarella, and prosciutto. Unique and delicious. Certainly eat here when you visit Minori. The location is great and the service excellent. As always, if you’re not italian, it helps to try to speak Italian.
