Terrible place - bad service, mediocre food I asked for a table and first they said it’s fully booked even though I saw two free tables. I got one of the tables outside but told the waiters that I would like to change for a table inside as soon as someone else was leaving as it was very windy and chilly and too uncomfortable to eat outside. The waiter said in 5-10 minutes I could change, but never came back to make it happen. The food took very long, I only ordered simple pasta with pesto and waited for around 40 minutes. After like 30 minutes they brought out some bread which was super dry and tasted like cardboard. The pasta didn’t have anything to do with pesto. It was a pale, creamy sauce. Not bad necessarily, but not a typical pesto sauce. I finished my first course still waiting that I could change for a table inside as I wanted to eat a second course. I eventually just went inside to check and realised that the restaurant was half empty! They had me sitting outside even though there was plenty of space inside in the end and just didn’t care to notify me. I didn’t want to spend any more money in this restaurant and rather than staying for a second course, I paid the bill and left. The menu outside on display has cheaper prices than the one you get once you sit down which is a total scam! I have never seen this before. I would avoid...
Read moreTasteless. One of the poorest meals I've ever paid an absolutely unreasonable price for. The meal, the service, the decor. From the unevenly cooked meat and vegetables, that somehow tasted of nothing but the carbon from the grill, the insipid pasta with broken clam shells, watery and devoid of flavour, the inattentive service, the 5000kelvin lighting, kitsch decor done in poor taste, and the absurd double menu, inside and out, offering a variety of unbelievable prices for the complete lack of quality control, and unmentioned service fees. Perhaps, when you offer poor quality olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the table with salt and pepper too, you might think about seasoning and preparing your food before it appears in front of your customers. I cannot recommend. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. And head to any of their charming, reasonably priced, and tasteful "competition" to enjoy some of the most incredible food, at so many of the exceptional restaurants along the...
Read morea must-visit option if you are staying in Minori. spent time eating in Siena, Capri, Amalfi, Positano, Salerno, and more, and this was one of the best stops.
strongly recommend seafood: this is what the place does best in my opinion. besides, you're on the coast! i had seafood scialatielli -- was the best pasta i had during my entire time in Italy.
if you are NOT FROM ITALY, expect to wait a while for food and service sometimes -- this is not uncommon. we got our food very fast and our service was great by local standards. they also treated our table to a round of Limoncello. table charge was also small, i think 2-3 euros per person (there is no tax).
they did keep playing the same five songs all night though, haha. hopefully they increase their music selection soon :-)
**might want to consider making a reservation if possible.
